College Assignment (Part 3)

With the crowd leaving you head to the side of the stage. Security lets you through thanks to the backstage pass and head to the back of the room. You knock on the door. Jake opens it. "Hey y/n! How are you?" You smile. "Great! How about you? You went all out on that stage" He nods his head. "Of course I have to! I'm fine. Kind of tired though. I gotta take a shower" You laugh. "Here sit anywhere we'll be right out just give us a moment" You shake your head. "No no take your time. I'm at no rush. Do what you gotta do to feel comfortable" He looks down and sees the rose in your hands. He scoffs. You raise your eyebrows. "What?" He giggles. "My brother is so clever isn't he? He was looking at you. He was how do you say, excited?" You gasp and point at yourself. "What about seeing me or just the whole concert?" He shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know. What do you think?" He gets a text message and opens the door. "We're heading to the bus I guess. Come on" You follow Jake to the tour bus. You walk in and see Josh sitting on his bed. Sam and Danny were talking on the table. "Hey y/n how'd you like the show!" Danny asked. "It was beautiful. You guys gave it your all!" Danny and Sam laugh and say thank you. "Josh is right over there if you wanna talk to him" Sam says with a grin. Josh jumps up. "What?" He looks over at you and smiles. "Hey! I didn't know you were here Jake why didn't you text me?" Jake shrugged his shoulders. "My phone died" He then gets a notification. "Ah shit. Looks like it's still has some juice left. Oops!" Josh squints his eyes. "Here's a little sneak peek of how the tour life can be sometimes y/n. It can be fun but also have some trouble. Like Josh" You giggle after Jake explained. "I mean it's not surprising I probably would be the same way if I was spending everyday with my siblings on a bus" They laugh and stop sit down. Josh sits next to you. "Did you enjoy the show y/n?" Jake groans. "Bro we already asked her that two times already you were over there-" Sam cut Jake off. "Yeah probably looking at his yoga schedule" Danny tried to hold in his laugh. "HeY yoga helps. You should try it sometime you bastards" They shrug their shoulders and look at you. You look at them wide eyed and realized that they were waiting for you to ask them some questions. "RIGHT OKAY UHM-" You say embarrassed. Josh giggles and you begun to ask some questions.
After you were done with what you were assigned to do you feel like it's time for you to go back to your hotel. While Jake, Sam, and Danny itch his girlfriend Mackenzie talking to each other in the small dining area you get up and Josh follows. "Hey! Where you going?" You take a deep breath. "I gotta go Josh. I mean I have no business being here. I did what I had to do and I'm thankful that you took the time to answer some questions that I had" He frowns a little bit and itches his head. "Well I mean, do you have to go I mean we can have a few drinks and get to know each other a little bit. It's always nice to know someone new on the road yanno?" You smile and place your hand on his shoulder. "Thank you but I gotta get back. I have a lot to write. You understand don't you I mean you were a director at one time" He blushes. "You remember that? Man the army sure does know a lot don't they?" He laughs. You laugh with him. "Yup. They love you guys very much"
It was 11 PM now and you knew it was time to go. You had a few salty dogs with Josh along with a glass of whiskey. "I think I should get going now Josh" You say with a hint of slurring. Josh looks over at you and out his arm around you. "Already? Aw man that sucks. You can't stay?" His eyes were low and it was obvious he had a bit to much to drink. "Yeah I need to do some work" He scoffs. "You're going to do it tonight? There's no way. YOU have to have some fun and be safe with people you know. Come on y/n don't you want to stay the night?" You groan and lean your head on Josh. "Josh I would love to but-" He then puts his finger on your lips. "No buts okay. You're staying here" His eyes were so beautiful and as you feel his finger on your lips you wished his hands were wrapped around your waist but was it you or the alcohol talking? "Alright fine. If you want me to stay that bad I guess" He smiles and gives you a big hug. "Yes! You made a good choice. You can sleep in my bed. I'll sleep on the couch" You shake your head. "No way Josh you had a long night I cannot let you sleep on an uncomfortable couch!" He puts his finger on your lips again. "Don't worry about me baby I'll be alright. A princess should have her own comfortable bed to sleep on to get her beauty rest" You blush and cup his cheek. "Thank you Josh" You both smile at each other. Jake then comes around. "HEY LOVERS!" He says a bit drunk. You all were pretty wasted. "What do you want Jake?" Josh says itching his head. Jake wraps his arms around his brother. "What? I can't ask what you're up to?" Josh shrugs his shoulders. Jake then points at you. "You- y/n are a prize you know that? I mean my brother has never asked a girl to stay this long. She must really be that special huh big guy?" He says punching his brothers arm. "Shut up Jake" He scoffs. "Well anyway you're staying the night here right y/n? It would be safer" You nod your head. "Yeah I am" Jake smirks. "Hear that Josh? Your girl is staying the night! Better be a gentleman" He laughs and heads to his bed. "Goodnight suckers!" He gives you a peace sign and goes to bed.
