"ｔｗｅｎｔｙｔｈｒｅｅ"

Cadence's POV

It was the court date and I am scared.

Sammy and the guys and Lauren are coming to support me.

"Okay so you are going to tell your story and then they are going to ask you questions and then the jury will make a decision."

"Okay. Is it okay if I cry?" I say laughing a little. Sammy cuddles me into his side.

"Yeah." the lawyer says.

"We should get going."

We walk in.

"Cadence Caroline Todd to the stand please." The judge said.

"Cadence why were you put in a orphanage?"

"So when I was 10 my parents broke up. I was convinced it was because of me because my dad and I fought all the time over stupid stuff. Turns out it wasn't because of me. My mom turned lesbian. She met a girl ditched my dad and left. At first it was weird, but I got used to it. And then there was this anger inside of me. I wouldn't talk. I would sit in my room all day. Then there was this time that my mom she was drunk and high and she hit me. She told me that i was worthless and I was just a piece of trash. She didn't know how much that hurt me. In fact that killed me. She got drunk and high a good more 20 times. At school, I was bullied. I was called a druggie lesbian. It hurt. I hid it though but when I got home I would cut the mess out of myself. I soon just stopped going to school. My family hated me because I was with my mom. They were mad. So when the police found out and called family no one would take me. I wasn't upset because I didn't like them. But I was taken to the orphanage and put in support groups. They made me tell them and so the whole orphanage knew and took pity on me. I didn't want their pity so I got switched to Westside and it was better. I met my friend Rayna and yeah. She gets happy on adoption days where i didn't because i was there 2 years before her and those 104 Saturdays sucked. Hoping and praying for someone to adopt me. I soon gave up. I just waited."

"Are you happy with the Bleu's?"

"Yeah I am. I have a lot of friendships and a relationship here."

"Are they here today?"

"Yes they came to support me."

"Will you guys wave your hands?"

They wave their hands.

"Okay. Mrs. Todd to the stand."

"Why do you think you are able to get her again?"

"I went to rehab and I am sober. I think that she should grow up with her mother."

"Okay. The jury will decide what now."

After about 5 minutes they have the decision.

"The jury has come to a decision. The jury says that Cadence Caroline Todd will stay with the Bleu's"

"Case dismissed." The judge says.

We all group hug and my mom comes up to me.

"Cadence, I love you."

"Why did you do it then?"

"I don't know."

"I'm sorry mom but I am happy here and I don't want to leave. You did some shitty stuff and I am done. I am actually happy for once."

I walk out and leave.

I hug Sammy so tightly.

"Only one more day of groudation so we can hang out tomorrow."

"Good cuz we are going on a date."

"Okay."
