Cadence's POV

We listen to our track.

"This is solid guys." skate says.

"Yeah." David and I agree.

Jack and Skate leave and go get some water.

"Hey."

"Hey." I say looking into his eyes.

His eyes are so beautiful.

He leans in and so do I.

We kiss and then Skate clears his throat.

"Shit." Dave mumbled.

I scurry off and go to the bathroom.

I cant like him. I just met him. What about Johnson? All of these things cross my mind.

I walk out with a hold.

"Hey guys do you wanna go get some sonic?"

"YASSS BITCH!" skate says.

We get in our cars and go.

Johnson asks "Where are we going?"

"TO SONIC BITCH!" I say.

He laughs.

"Why are you laughing?"

I look down and saw that he was snapping.

"You bitch." I say and hit him.

"OWW!"

"You deserved it."

I honestly look at Johnson as a friend and brother. Plus it would be weird if dated my brothers friend. But Sammy is different. Will and Sammy have a love hate relationship kinda.

We pull into sonic and get out. We go sit at the tables and look at what we want. I get an Oreo milkshake.

Johnson gets a burger and strawberry milkshake. Everyone else just gets ice cream.

"You guys are lameo's" I say as I drink my milkshake.

"Why because I just got ice cream?" Dave asks.

"Um yeah." I say laughing.

We were all hanging out and talking.

Dave gives me his number and says to text him.

We leave.

Its been a month after I met Dave. Although we kissed, we aren't going out. Instead Johnson and I are. Ironic right...

Anyway we were at the studio again but this time for Johnson, Gilinsky, and Skate for their song. Sammy came along and was standing my be.

"Look I am sorry. She was my ex and she came on the me."

"But you kissed back and honestly I don't know why I cared. We weren't even dating. But I am happy with jack so just get over it."

"Are we at least friends?"

"Yeah." I say and we hug.

"Thank God."

We watch Gilinsky and Jack and Skate throw down some sick song.

I think they were calling it "Like That?"

They throw it down and then they review it. They start handshaking.

"This is great." Gilinsky says.

"Damn right it is." I say.

We go hang out at Sammy's house.

We play truth or dare and a just acting crazy.

We say goodbye.

I hug everyone and say "See you tomorrow." because we were going to the lake.

"Aight."

We go home. I drop Jack and Jack off.

I go to my house and fall asleep.

* SOME OF THE EVENTS IN THIS PART ARE REAL*

I wake up to my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I say groggily,

"Hey. Dave died. I need you at the corner 72nd and Shirley street now."

"OH MY GOSH. I AM ON MY WAY."

I get up and put on my shoes.

"Will? Will."

"What?"

"Dave died. we need to go."

"Oh my gosh. Lets go."

We get in my car and ride in silence.

I was so heartbroken.

We get there and I see Jack, Jack, Sammy, and Skate.

"What happened?" I asked.

"They say that he was going to fast so he flipped." Gilinsky said.

"Was there any hope in saving him?" Will asked.

"No they said he was dead when they arrived." Sammy said.

Skate was walking around. He was looking for something to hit.

"NATE!" I say.

He looks at me with teary eyes.

I run over to him and hug him.

"Nate its going to be okay."

"No its not. That kid was my life. He always had a smile on his face and I won't ever be able to see that."

"You will see him again someday."

"I know but still."

We just stand there and hug. It was nice.

Sammy and everyone comes over to us and group hugs.

We see the tree he hit.

"Guys I have a sharpie. Lets go write on the tree." I say.

We go sit around the tree and write things.

The next day we come back and see other people had written things.

The news interviews us and we say a little about him.

I almost start to cry because I will never get to hear his voice again. Him singing on sound-cloud is the only thing. I wish God would have taken someone else. Hell I would have gone. Its just not fair because he deserved better. He deserved a longer life. And that is a fact. Everyone is so torn up. No one wanted to see him go. I got to talk with a few of his friends and they said he was the nicest person you would ever meet. I could tell he made and impact on Omaha and I know that no body could ever replace that. He will be the only David Korff. He will be the best.

*******AUTHORS NOTE*********

I just want to take the time to give a minute of silence to David Korff. He is on sound-cloud with his music. I fell in love with him. Skate did a song called "Hold this feeling" in honor of him. Sammy and Skate did a song called "lifE" about him too. He was such a smiley person. He deserved a longer life he really did. No I don't know much about him but from what the news said He was the best guy you could meet.
