Chapter 21

Miles's POV

"I am not hungry."

"Don't be stubborn. Just eat, okay? I don't feel good today." He told me.
Cade handed me his phone.
"Use this for now. At least I know how to contact you."

"How about you?"

"I'll just ask someone to buy for me."
Cade opened the paper bag.

I stood up to call everyone that they can enter now. They are awkwardly staring from the door earlier, hesitating to enter because Cade didn't give them a go signal yet.

Cade is trying to feed me. "I can eat by myself."

"Baby, are you still mad? I was not part of that Luke's bullshit plan. I will never intentionally make you jealous."

"Who said I was jealous?" I think they heard me.

"Uhmmm you? last night, remember?"
Did I say I was jealous?

"Don't leave your guards at my home again." That's all I can say to him.

"It's just to protect you, baby."
Funny.

"Protect from what? from whom? From Sydney?" I faked a laugh.

"Yes, protect you from anyone especially if that someone might ruin what we have right now. Now eat."
This Cade is so obsessed with feeding me. I am not in the mood to eat but guess has no choice.

Luke keeps stealing a glance at us. He keeps giving me a peace sign but I am ignoring it. I think Cade scared him a bit.

"Anyway, I'll be going home on the weekend," I informed Cade even if it's still days away.

"Province? How long?"

"I think 3 days would be enough. We don't have classes on Monday and Tuesday so I am thinking of staying there for a while. We don't know when are we going to have this long weekend again."
My parents and grandparents already missed me. I want to surprise them by going home.

"I'll come with you." I choked on my food. My family knew that I am gay but I am worried about their reaction when they found out I have a boyfriend already just a few months staying in BKK.
Cade handed me a water.

"It's far. The village is a mess. The people there are quite loud and nosy. You won't love it there."

"Baby, I am coming with you because I don't want to miss you for days. I don't care about the people there."
I never thought that he would be asking to come with me.

He stayed in our apartment tonight. He told Mayka already before he even asked me. Because Mayka trusts this guy, he just allowed him again.

Even though Cade's family is very rich, he never complained about our home. He is just fine with anything I am providing him here.

He is just watching the news while I am preparing for dinner. I am just frying fish because this is what I am good at. I know he will eat this no matter what.

"Baby, done." I set the table for two.

"What fish is this?" He asked.

"Does it matter what kind of fish is this? Are you trying to be picky?"

"Calm down. I am just curious because I have never seen this before. It's too small and ugly."

"Then don't eat."

He ignored me and started eating by tearing it using a fork. I used my hand to get some part and put it in his mouth.

"Sometimes it's better to eat with bare hands. How is it?" I waited for his answer.
