Side Story #4 Bruno & Mayka

Bruno's POV

I wake up early to wash my baby ninja. It was Cade's gift to me last year, a black Kawazaki Ninja. He knows I love riding motorcycles. I have four actually but I think this will be more comfortable for Mayka as my ride pillion.

I wasn't able to sleep last night thinking about where to go with him.
Should we just watch a movie? I think I will bore him a lot. I am not good at this. I never asked someone out.

Will it be okay if we go on a picnic? Will it be better if I use the car instead? I can always borrow from Sir Cade.

When the bike was all cleaned up, I took a bath and grab our breakfast from the barracks dining area. We are being supplied with meals every morning, lunch, and dinner here.

I took mine and Mayka's portion and placed it on our small table in the room. Bernard didn't sleep here last night. He went to his girlfriend's condo. I think he is in a relationship with their class president.

Mayka drank a lot again last night. I think he forgot that he punched his friend Ford because of jealousy. I was so shocked too because the Mayka that we know is always composed. They had to leave earlier because Mayka is mad already. The two can't understand why he became like that when I joined them.

"Mayka, wake up." I was already ready for our date today. Can we call it a date? I want to bring him to that peaceful place.

"It's my off, dumbass." He groaned.

"You agreed with me. Now get up."
I pulled his arms up.

I already told Sir Cade that I am moving my day off today. For sure, the couple will just lock themselves in their room after being engaged.

"My head is aching, I am not in the mood to go." He looked at me. I think I overdressed for this date.

"Fine, eat your breakfast. I am leaving then." If he thinks I am going to force him to come with me then he is wrong. I don't like demanding what I want to anyone. I already asked him out last night and he agreed to it.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"I am not sure. Anywhere to enjoy my off."

I ride my Ninja and left the mansion.

Mayka's POV

Why the hell he looks so dressed up just for a hangout? Is he trying to impress me? I can still smell his manly perfume after he left minutes ago.

I finished my breakfast. I feel so tired. My whole body is aching.

A sudden knock on the door woke my senses up. I was imagining how the date would be if I joined him.

"Hey, mansion owner, why are you here?" I teased my brother.

"That's what I want to ask you, why are you here?" He answered with a question too.

"Of course, this is my room."

"But I thought you'll go out with Bruno. He texted Cade last night asking permission for a day off. Cade said he never asks for an off but he did so we are thinking that maybe because it is your off today too. So I was wrong...I thought you and Bruno have you know...thing...for each other. I'll just gonna Ship Bruno to someone else." Miles is being so loud this early.

"Well, I didn't come with him. I feel lazy. Did he tell Sir Cade where he is going?" I asked my brother.

"Why? Are you going to follow him? Let me ask Cade." He walked out of the room.

I lie down on my bed.

Should I call him or not?

This Bruno is really a problem.
