I have always been a lucid dreamer, but they've always been by accident. Since hearing about shifting, however, I've restarted my reality checks to see if I can't trigger some LD, that could maybe get me to my DR.
So last night seemed pretty successful. I had a series of LD, but never managed to make a portal.
My concern is that I am never sure if they are really lucid dreams, or if I'm simply dreaming about lucid dreams. Does that make sense?
Like, I didn't feel like I could control a whole lot in my dream, so was I actually consciously aware? Or was the storyline of my dream just that I did a reality check and tried to create a portal.
Maybe I jumped too quickly into it. Maybe once I realize I'm lucid, I should focus on smaller things, instead of immediately going "I NEED A DOOR".
