Lucy's Point of View

What had that boy done now? Of all the things he could have bought for the twins, he bought one of those? Seriously, he was really strange. There was something strange about this particular one though, it was tiny! I beckoned for Zack to come into the room I was standing by, so he entered solemnly, cradling the little beast in his arms. He was whispering to it. It was such a shame that he did not know what this creature symbolised. I stomped over to him, folding my arms.

"Zack, what have you done?" I asked him sternly, and he shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know!" He yelled unexpectedly. "Why doesn't somebody explain and then I might understand?"

            "Where did you get it?"

"At the market, a man said it wasn't good enough for anything so I bought it from him," he defended. I looked him in the eyes and realised he was telling the truth. He really was clueless.

"Do you know what it is?" I questioned.

"Well it's a dragon of course!" Zack said, gazing down at the creature. At least he knew what it was.

"What people have pet dragons, Zack?" I pressed, seeing if he knew more.

            "I don't know Lucy, what've I done wrong?"

"The voices have dragons Zack," I whispered, not daring to speak any louder. I watched his face pale quickly as the realisation hit him.

"But Lucy, this one is small," he pleaded.

"It's still a dragon for magic's sake!" I yelled. He looked at me fearfully, and I softened the hard expression that was pasted on my face.

"What do I do?" he said quietly.

"You have to get rid of it - tomorrow," I explained. "And I suggest you find another present for the twins and apologise.

Zack bravely entered the room of bustling elves with me following. He took centre stage and used his elements to amplify his voice.

"I am extremely sorry everything I've done, I swear, I didn't know," he began. Approvingly, I nodded for him to continue. "I am getting rid of the creature tomorrow so no more harm will be done." He continued to express his sorrow and apologised directly to the twins, who told him not to worry about it because he couldn't have known. It was then time for the party to start where it had left off.

After a few more hours, the elves began to leave in their clan groups. The twins were tired and wanted to go to sleep, so it was agreed that everyone left at the house would take an early night. Lanny, the Electricity clan leader was staying as a guest for a few days with the twins.

"What a fantastic night," Bex cheered. Jam nodded in agreement, even with their tired condition they were bouncing around.

"Please please you two get some rest," Lanny moaned. Zack smiled at her. I had a feeling these two killjoys would get on just fine.

Robin linked his arm through mine and whispered calming words in my ear, telling me that the party had not been the disaster I thought it had. He escorted me to our room, and we changed for bed. Happily, I collapsed on to my hay bed in the darkness of the room, and fell right asleep even in the uncomfortable hay.

It was not long until I awakened in my usual soul travelling state. At once I recognised the lovely fields and bright blue sky, and my face stretched out into a wide grin. Grandfather Edmund wished to speak with me. He was sat under his usual tree with a grave look on his face, which made me anxious to know what was bothering him, so I ran towards him steadily.
