Zack's Point of View

It took an extremely long time to go back to sleep again. I had to tell Bex and Jam to be quiet numerous times because they were so talkative! They giggled at every sentence, and finally wore themselves out from laughing too much and went to sleep. I did get to sleep eventually, even if I did realise that it wasn't the noise of the elves that caused me to be kept awake, but them as a whole. Who had sent them? Edmund trusted them, so I finally decided to trust his judgement and went to sleep.

"Zacky Zacky Zacky!" Two playful voices squealed whilst pulling on each of my arms. Groaning, I sat up.

"What do you two pests want?" I grumbled.

"It's time to travel Zacky!" Bex giggled, again. I stood up in the shelter and tried to find something to wear in my bag.

"Where are my clothes?" I moaned angrily.

"We have them Zacky," a guilty voice, belonging to none another than the other twin, Jam, said.

"Well can I have them please?" I yelled. "And stop calling me Zacky!" I added angrily. Both of them giggled again, and I rolled my eyes.

"Find them," Bex suggested. I glared at her.

"Why don't you two be good elves and give them to me?" I pleaded. They giggled even more.

"But that would ruin the game!" Jam whined. Angrily, I picked her up by her tiny ankle so she squealed a girlish squeal that rang out through the entire forest.

"Now will you tell me where they are?" I threatened. But instead of giving in to my taunts, Jam vanished. Bex giggled again. Would these two ever stop giggling?

"Where did your twin go?" I asked, astounded.

"She teleported," Bex said, shrugging her little shoulders.

"Here I am!" Jam laughed, holding one of my socks. I growled at her.

"Hey that's mine!" I roared. Neither of them flinched. Just as I was about to strangle the pair of them, a familiar face entered the shelter.

"Spot of trouble, Zack?" Edmund chuckled. I glared at him too.

"Where've you been?" I grumbled. He laughed again.

"Just a walk - you two be good elves and let Zack have his clothes back," he answered, and told the elves.

"Anything for you, sir," they both said, simultaneously bowing. I grumbled even more and questioned Edmund on how he did it. He didn't answer, and just laughed, which annoyed me even more. The elves bounded away, disappeared, and then returned with armfuls of my clothes. I snatched them quickly in case they changed their minds, and then told them to go outside for a bit whilst I changed.

When I was finally ready, Edmund was outside entertaining the elves. They were talking in hushed voices; however they stopped when I appeared. I shrugged it off, thinking it was nothing. I grabbed my sword, slasher, and places it into its sheath. I saw that Edmund had his blue gem sword again. I couldn't help but be in awe at how beautiful it was as it sparkled in the morning sunlight. Edmund commanded me to flatten the shelter we had made with my elements, so I did, because it would hide our tracks, just in case anybody was tailing us, and we finally left.
