A few days had passed since my brutal killing, and I was almost dying of boredom. The days had been incredibly uneventful, with no fun at all. Oliver had sent the letter to the King as requested, and I thought that it was definitely time to see what he was going to do about it. Smiling slyly to myself, I imagined his reaction. Oh he really would be irritated that his one of many assassins had failed him once again! I wondered what kind of a person he would send next. At first, he only sent the weakest of men; however I had grown to realise that he had noticed that this was not going to work. The men finally got stronger and stronger, but definitely not as strong as myself. What surprised me most of all, was the fact that he had never sent a magician to challenge me. It would please me greatly if he did, as at least a magician would put up a fight against me. Sighing, I realised that this was never going to happen. The magician's that the King had on his side would be far too precious to risk just for dealing with me.
Eventually, I decided that it was time for the Coven and I to have a little fun. Who knew what I was going to plan, but I really needed to get out of the castle for a while - even if it was only for a few hours. I reached out with my consciousness and tried to figure out what my Coven members were up to. I came across Oliver and Jordan first. As usual, they were out in the acres of land that I had gained with the castle, practising their swordsmanship. Oliver, of course, was winning every single match from the sense of gloating I was picking up from him. Jordan on the other hand, was determined to knock that gloating smile from his face. I laughed out loud at the other emotions he was emitting. Let's just say, Oliver was being called a lot of names without even knowing he was.
Next, I found San. He was in the castle library, reading a book about fire, his element. Shaking my head, I suppressed another laugh. San was always reading, and because of this, he had a lot of knowledge about things the others did not. He was probably the most intelligent of the Coven, and knew much more about the elements than even I did. Knowing San, he was probably reading to figure out how I had combined my elements together. To tell the truth, I did not even know this myself. I did not like to read facts, so I discovered my talents alone without help. It was so much more fun like that, especially testing my new discoveries on the poor idiotic people who breached my protective barrier without permission or an invitation.
However the next thing I discovered was the one that worried me the most. I could not find my brother anywhere! I scanned each floor of my grand castle and found no trace of his mind at all. Next I searched the grounds for him, but he was not there either. Eventually, after a few minutes of constant fretting, I called San, Jordan and Oliver to me. Perhaps they would know where my brother had escaped to.
San, being the closest in the library, was the first to arrive at my chambers. Sensing my worry, his excited face turned to a concerned one.
"Is everything alright, my lady?" he asked.
"Wait until the others arrive," I pleaded, and he nodded, his face growing even more concerned. We sat in complete silence for the few minutes it took for the other two to arrive. When finally they burst through the door, apologising for not coming sooner, I told them what I had discovered.
"Robin is missing," I stated, and all three of them gasped.
"You mean that he is not inside the castle barrier?" San asked anxiously.
"I cannot find his presence here at all," I muttered. "I take this to mean that none of you know where I could find him?" All three shook their heads sadly. Rising from the bed, I paced angrily around the room, and then came to the decision that my brother was big enough and old enough to look after himself. If he wanted to take the odd excursion out of the castle ground, I could not care less.
"Well let's leave him be," I commanded. "He can look after himself."
"What if he is hurt, my lady?" Jordan asked.
"Then it is his own fault," I snapped. Every one of them looked confused, but I blew it off. The atmosphere became eerily silent, so I broke it.
"Want to go have some fun, boys?" I asked, and there depressing faces brightened up a little bit.
"Oh no my lady, what kind of fun were you planning?" San mocked. I shot him a glare, and then smiled, enjoying seeing his face go from frightened to amused.
"You will have to wait and see," I laughed. "Come on, follow me."
I lead my Coven away from my castle, knowing the perfect place that we could visit. Each one of them asked me questions about our destination, but I gave no clue of my decision. This was going to be so much fun! Finally, we came with in a short walk from the nearest village to my castle, Redin.
"We'll be there soon," I told my Coven. They did not look as excited as before.
"You aren't thinking about doing what I think you are?" Oliver asked me, worried. I took this as he had given me permission to scan his mind, and I realised that he knew of my plan.
"I am indeed, warrior," I told him, and he smiled a little. The others still had no idea about what I was suggesting. "Right, all of you create a platform with your element," I commanded. Oliver and Jordan successfully completed the order, but Jordan was having a little trouble.
"I'm sorry my lady, I am having problems grasping this task" he explained, so I decided to teach him how to do it.
"San, my friend, imagine there is a plate beneath each of your feet," I instructed. He closed his eyes and I could tell from his face he was concentrating hard. A small flame shot out from under one of his feet.
"Right, now imagine the plates are growing and meeting together," I explained. He did as he was told, and within no time, he had made a board of fire under his feet.
"Wow, I'm flying!" he exclaimed, and I laughed at his joy.
"Come on then, it's not like we have a great amount of time," I demanded, so we all rose on our coloured boards of elements. I had mixed all of my elements together to create a rainbow board.
"That is one fine board, my lady," Jordan approved. I smiled at him.
"Now follow my lead!" I commanded. We soared into the sky, and I almost felt like a bird.
Finally, we were hovering above Redin. Without thinking I shot sparks of my fire element out from my finger tips which soared downwards hitting any building they came across, setting the whole town on fire.
"Come on my Coven, let us show them how strong we are," I bellowed out into the air. Screams were heard from all around, and women and children ran out of their homes with their hands in the air, yelling at us to stop. The men had hold of swords, and some had bows, shooting arrows into the sky. Of course none of them hit any of us, as I had raised a powerful protective magic shield around us that no small arrow would penetrate. I cackled a high pitch very witch like cackle.
"Fight back, you urchins, show us what you have got!" I teased. There faces were pictures of pure terror. San and Jordan combined there elements of air and fire to shove powerfully fast balls of fire across the skies and then crashing down to the ground. Oliver sent blasts of water to calm down the ones that had burnt for too long.
"Don't do this, Elsa," a familiar voice yelled. I looked down at the ground, horrified at what I was seeing. A dark red haired man was standing confidently in the village, a small girl with beautifully wavy black hair under his arm. My brother was standing against me. My own bloody brother!
