Reggie was my day one. Since the age of 3 I spent almost everyday with him . Loving one another,sleepovers,family campfires, anything I would ever need from a best friend. His parents thought of me as one of their own, and my parent's thought the same of Reggie. Growing up I spent everyday with Reggie, starting with the first day of school, onto your first middle school dance, then onto graduation. Through all of this there was one thing that kept ticking my mind. Vinnie. Oh yes, Vinnie. He was a few months older then me. Tall,tan,beautiful hazel eyes, brownish-blonde fluffy hair, and not to mention...he had the HOTTEST body. Ever, and I mean ever. Yet Vinnie always had always had a way of "friend zoning you".
   It was your first middle school fight. Everyone was chanting, "Yea get her Allie!" "I didn't know a seventh grader could fight like that!" I absolutely kicked.her.ass, but then I felt a strong grip snake around my waste and pull me off of her. It was Vinnie. "Damn little sis, who knew you could fight like that." Vinnie said with a smug smirk on his face. But at the same time I could also tell he expected more out of me. I was better then that. But... "little sis?" I didn't want to be his sister. I wanted to be more.
I was at Vinnie's graduation with his family. Mine couldn't make it. "Look at my handsome boy there up on the stage. Isn't he handsome?" Vinnie's mom asked me with a giggle. "Oh yes Maria. He's very handsome." I said as we continued to laugh together. They called Vinnie up to the stage. Everyone clapped, but Vinnie's mom cried. It's funny because, so did I. I couldn't believe all this time went by and I still never told how I felt.
I embraced Vinnie's mom laughing at myself because I couldn't believe I was crying. Reggie was looking at me with a confused face and Vinnie's dad was laughing at me. I turn to my right and say, "Hey! What are you laughing at Nate?" with a laugh. Vinnie's dad embraced me "Ahh come here kid. Don't be upset that you little crush is graduating." He said with a giggle as he whispered in my ear. He always knew I had a crush on Vinnie and promised to keep my secret. "Aye, who knows Allie maybe he has a little thing for you too." Nate said. Yea who knows maybe he does have a thing for me...nah who am I kidding.
