After Party

After the graduation was over we all met up in the parking lot. Vinnie's family all got a chance to hug him, and then it was my turn. He had such a warm embrace with a strong scent of cologne. He rapped his arms around my shoulders and shook me with a giggle. "I say we go out together for dinner as a family, and yes that includes you too little sis." Vinnie said with a devilish smirk. Again. Little sis, it was always little sis. But I brushed it off
"Sounds good to me!" Vinnie's parents said.
Vinnie took his own car there, separately from us. "Hey little sis, wanna hop in with me" Vinnie yelled from a few parking spots down. I looked over at Reggie and he nudged his head towards Vinnie. "Uh- sure." I said and I couldn't help to smile. I had a feeling Reggie knew I had a little thing for Vinnie. Even though it wasn't really a "little" thing.
I walk over to Vinnie's car and he opened the passenger door for me. "A gentleman as always huh." I said giggling. Vinnie hopped in and started the car. "Hey Allie it's our song!" Vinnie said with and excited smirk. We both reached our hands to turn up the radio and his hand ended on top of mine. He turned his head to me and he still didn't move his hand off of mine. "Hey, why's ur face so red al?" He said already knowing the answer. I slipped my hand away and he turned up the radio. The song "Still into you by Paramore blared. "I'm still in to you." Vinnie sang looking at me with a laugh. I blushed. We loved this song since we were little and the fact that we had a "song" together felt so special to me even though it probably meant nothing to him.
We pulled into the Olive Garden parking lot and as I was about to open my door and Vinnie tapped my arm and said "nope." So I smirked and waited for him to run around the car and open my door for me. "Thank you sir." I said with a smile to my ears. We were walking in and Vinnie rapped his arm around my shoulder and I rested my hand on his. Reggie kept giving me a "look". He didn't look impressed. At all. So I walk away from Vinnie and nudge into Reggie. "What's up bud" I said as I tap my arm around his. "Nothing al, what do you mean?" He said looking at me with a sympathetic smile. "You look bugged." I said. "Bugged? I haven't heard someone say that ever except movies from the 70's." Reggie said with a big laugh. I rolled my eyes and we were being seated Vinnie sat in the middle of the booth and I slid next to him with Reggie to my left. Vinnie grabbed my hand and pulled me a little closer to him. Vinnie pulls out his phone and I felt my phone buzz. I look at a text from Vinnie that says "Wanna come to a party with me tonight?" "As like what a date?" I type back jokingly. "I mean I didn't wanna admit it but yea that's what I meant." Vinnie said. Omg. This has never happened before I mean I've been to parties with him and stuff but not as a...date. "Ugh I mean sure I guess. But I promised to watch a movie with Reggie tonight." I said worried that this whole thing wouldn't work out.
