Prom

It was the day before prom. I went to get my hair blown out, my nails done, tanned, a facial, I don't know why I was trying so hard because Vinnie thinks I always looked beautiful. I just wanted it to be perfect. I was very nervous for some reason though. Even though it was just with Vinnie and I'm with Vinnie all the time. It all just felt like a big deal. I was planning to wear a long baby blue dress with white heals and my hair down. Vinnie was gonna wear a black suit and a blue tie. It felt so formal. I was excited though.
Later that night...
"Are you excited for tomorrow babe?" Vinnie whispered to me as we lied in bed. "Yea of course but I'm sorta nervous." I said quietly. "Why would you be nervous it's gonna be perfect. I'm sure you're gonna look perfect to baby." He said smiling. "I don't feel perfect and I'm so nervous because it's all so real. I just feel like I'm gonna miss this type of stuff." I said bummed out. "Baby. You are perfect. I promise...remember I'm a man of my word. And even if it's your last prom you'll always remember it. It will be special." Vinnie reassured me with a smile. I could tell he was being honest. "So Vin...why didn't you ask me to prom with you last year?" I said jokingly. "Well I would have assumed you would have said no." He said ashamed. "Vinnie. Are you joking? I probably would have said yes in a heartbeat." I said laughing. "Well at least I get to go with you this year baby." He smirked. "Yea...true. Goodnight Vinnie. I love you." I said shutting my eyes. "I love you too beautiful." He said back as I fell asleep in his arms.
The next morning I woke up before he did and met his mother in the kitchen. " good morning sleeping beauty. It's already 12 you slept in." Vinnie's mom said to me. "Haha well I better start getting ready soon." I responded heading for the door. " well if your leaving I'm going with you. I'm helping you get ready." Maria laughed. We hopped in my car and headed off.
She put golden eyeshadow on me, with light blush and mascara. "That's it?" I remarked jokingly. "Well sweetheart your already beautiful." Maria said smiling. "Thank you Maria." I smiled. "Do you know how long Vinnie has talked about you allie?" Maria question. "No,no what do you mean?" I said smiling. "Vinnie always told me you were the most beautiful since the age of 7. Once you guys sorta became a thing you could only imagine how excited he was. Vinnie's very lucky to have a beautiful girl like you." Maria smiled. "Well I'm lucky to have Vinnie. You really raised a kind young man. I myself have always had a little thing for him to." I giggled. "Allie let's not waist anytime you better get dressed." Maria implied. "Ok I'll be right back." I replied.
I walked out in a long slim baby blue dress that I loved. "Oh my gosh Allie your beautiful." Maria said wiping a tear from her cheek. "Oh gosh Maria don't cry. Thank you though. Hey can you do a favor and zip me up?" I replied. She did as I asked. "Are you ready to go see Vinnie?" She asked. "I cant wait." I responded.
Vinnie pulled into my drive way. "He's here." My mom yelled.
Show time.
I opened the door and Vinnie's jaw dropped to the ground.

VINNIE'S POV

I just saw the most beautiful girl walk before my eyes. Holy shit. She was wearing a gorgeous baby blue dress that complimented her baby blue eyes. She smiled and I could feel my heart melt...and my eyes water a little. I couldn't get over the fact that she was mine. What did I ever do to deserve her...

BACK TO YOU POV

Vinnie was so handsome. He was wearing and all black suit and a blue tie...*that I forced him to wear*. "You look...stunning." Vinnie said with a huge smile across his face. "Eh you don't look to bad your self." I replied jokingly. He laughed. He opened the passenger car door for me. As always. And I hopped in. We drove to prom and it was .everything. We danced all night and socialized. "So Vinnie I see you finally scored your child hood dream girl huh." One of Vinnie's friends joked. "He talked about you everyday. I mean every single day." His friend implied. I laughed. It was time for the slow dance. I rested my head on Vinnie shoulder. It all felt perfect. It was all I could have asked for. I wish he could just hold me forever. As the next slow dance song came on I told Vinnie. "Hey Vin how about you go talk to some of your friends and I'm gonna go dance with Reggie." Vinnie nodded. Reggie has just ended up going with a bunch of friends. "Hey Reggie can I steal you for a dance?" I said holding my hand out. He grabbed mine. He put his hands around my waist and my hands were around his neck. "Why didn't you ask me to prom?" Reggie asked jokingly. I just pushed him a little. We stayed silent most of the time. I would remember this moment forever. I would remember Reggie forever. He was my forever...well maybe my second forever. "I'm gonna miss you when I move to L.A with Vinnie." I said. "I don't think you can miss me more than I'll miss you. I'll come see you though I promise." He said smiling.
   Prom ended and it was a blast. Vinnie and I drove back to his house so we could change into some normal clothes and head to a party.

   We entered his room and I headed to his dresser where I had my owner drawer. I pulled out a hoodie and Jean shorts. Vinnie put on sweatpants and a t-shirt. We were off.
    We arrived and Vinnie said, "Remember my rules?" I just rolled my eyes and opened the car door. Vinnie met me on the other side and grabbed my hand. We headed inside and went to find the drinks. I went to grab a beer but Vinnie smacked my hand away. I looked at him with confusion. "You know I don't like you drinking." He said. I didn't argue. We walked around till we found a couch. Vinnie pulled me onto his lap and rapped his arms around my waist. Vinnie's friends gathered around and started shouting. "Hey man your girl is very...very hot." Vinnie's friend said slurring his words. "I know bud." Vinnie said shouting over the loud music. Vinnie's friend stuck out a puff bar and Vinnie grabbed it. "Vinnie what the fuck?" I said. He looked up at me while taking a hit. "Give it to me." I said holding out my hand. He slapped it down in my hand and threw his head back. I grabbed it and gave it back to his friend. This party was lowkey boring so I thought we could do something to make it a more enjoyable time.
  I grabbed his hand and pulled him off the couch heading to the stairs. We walked up the stairs till we found the bathroom. I pushed him in and locked the door behind me. He already knew what was about to happen. He pinned me against the counter kissing me and running his hands through my hair. I rapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer. He pulled one of my legs up and I rapped it around his waist...
We decided to leave the party after that.
It was the next day and I woke up next to Vinnie sore and tired. There was only a week left until graduation and I think it was just the nerves getting to me. I got while he was sleeping and got in my car to leave. I went home and showered and planned to have a lazy day.
