When he entered all the nurse eyes were on him.

And there he see His Lucy….his beautiful Lucy was lying there on the surgery bed. Her head were bandaged. It was painted red due to her blood. Her face was pale, like a dying person, the monitoring machine showed a small beeping of her heart. He feel an urged to just grab and hold her in his arm. How much he want to do that.

“come we’ll change your clothes first” the doctor said. God he know it he was doctor too! Don’t boss him around! He nodded and move fast to change the clothes. Its only takes a minute before he came out in those green robe(?)

 The blood transfusion did well, it was a success. Natsu stayed there next to Lucy’s bed. He still can see her face clearly his long fingers slowly reached her dangling hand and locked them together. She have such a fair skin, and in his eyes their hand looks matching. Slight amnesia…the doctor said earlier. Lucy have a slight amnesia. Its the side effect from hit the staircase, but the doctor said she will be fine.

He doesn’t realize when but he finally passed out from tiredness. When he waked up he was inside a ward. He instantaneously rise from his bed. He pulled out the IV and winced slightly. The blood slowly dripped from his hand his body felt too heavy. Nonetheless, he continued to stand up, and reached for the wall as support. He still feel a bit groggy his head was pounding. He knows he need to rest, he need to make sure his blood circulation was fine but no! He wants to see her. Right now, right there.

He opened the door, and met Lisanna with Laxus outside. “dude! What the- hey! you gotta get a rest first.” Laxus looked at him . Lisanna gasped when the pink haired man nearly collapse, luckily Laxus saved him.

“Luce….where’s she?.. I- want….t-to see her.” Natsu murmured slowly but clear enough.

‘don’t worry Natsu she’s fine. We need to get you back to your bed now.” Lisanna said concerned. But the male refused he shook his head and tried to stand straight. Laxus sighed.

“I’ll bring him to her.” He said. looking at Lisanna. He figured out nothing could stop this pink haired man, hell this man would do anything for someone he loved. Yeah Laxus may look a bit dense with love. But he clearly knows that Natsu was in love with Lucy and he understand his feelings.

Lisanna let out a sigh but she finally nodded, but something in her face shows some kind of uncertainty. Laxus whispered something to her and she nodded again. Laxus lead him towards Lucy’s ward his step were still staggering that he sometime need to hold on the wall. Finally Laxus opened the door.

Lucy was still sleeping, the bandage was still on her head, but the blood spot was cleared. He move and take a sit on a chair beside her. He took her delicate hand inside his own hand, and squeeze it gently his other hand pat her head affectionately. He smiled without he realizing it. He feel calm watching her, he feel like finally all the weight in his heart was gone. Lucy was fine, she was still alive.

Laxus only watch from far he walks toward him and held his shoulder firmly more like asking him to get himself together.

“ you know what? Don’t became a coward. When she wake up you better tell her everything, the late you confess, the more obstacle will come crashing. I know you can Natsu…” he trailed the last word. “I’m sure she will accept you.”

“Laxus…” Natsu said. he looked at the older man. “heh…talking to me like that…right now you’re in same boat as me. you should do the same.” he chuckled. The blonde man smiled back and started to walk away.

“Not anymore…I will do it today.” He opened the door and walked away.

Natsu was still smiling. He will tell her this time definitely. He waited for nearly an hour but he fast asleep, his hand was  still holding her hand in his.
