"Would you maybe...want to be my...."

"Peter?"

"Yes" he looked down at me quickly and awkwardly

"are you asking me to be your girlfriend?" his cheeks turned red at the word 'girlfriend'

"Maybe" I could tell he was embarrassed now

"Well, if you are I would love to"

"Really?" his face lit up like a christmas tree in time square

"Of course" I gave him a kiss on the cheek before resting my head on his chest. I could hear how fast his heart was beating. Mine was too.

Thump thump thump thump thump thump

It felt almost like our hearts synced up.

Thump thump thump thump thump thump

Thump thump thump thump thump thump

"I'm really glad you asked me that" I said

"Really?" He questioned

"How could I not. You're perfect" I looked up at him, he gave me a kiss on the forehead and I smiled. I loved him so much. He really was perfect.

We watched Star Wars for almost another hour before he broke the silence "Hey you know what we should do today?"

"What?"

"We should have a picnic at our bridge!"

"That's a great idea Pete, what do you want to pack?" I stood up from the bed where we were lying, and walked over towards the bathroom and put my hands on my hips. We didn't bring any food with us so we'd have to buy it.

"I don't know we could get some sandwiches from that small shop down the street, and ooo we should grab a few of those pretzels we got yesterday!"

"That sounds great Peter." I walked into the bathroom and grabbed the wicker basket that was full of fruity candles and soaps. I'm guessing Loki put in a special order for us since it wasn't here when we arrived. Also because he's really into mine and Peters relationship- for some reason... it's getting a little creepy. I dumped all the cheesy candles and soaps out and put them under the sink.

I walked out to Peter and pushed the basket towards him "Here. We can use this to carry the food." he took it and smiled before giving me a kiss. He grabbed his Midtown Tech sweater and handed it to me. I slipped it on and zipped it up. We walked out of the hotel and I pulled out my phone. The time was 9:15. I slid it back into my jean pocket and we got sandwiches from the store Peter had mentioned before.

The next day; 1 day until Tony arrives

"Oh god damn it" more curses flew quietly out of my mouth while I stumbled around the hotel room. Hopefully Peter didn't notice. I needed to see a old friend, but I couldn't tell Peter about it. He wouldn't approve and would make his point VERY painstakingly clear so sneaking around at 5am was the way to go.

I walked for a while before I got to the bench we had planned to meet up at. And there he was the 1,070 year old god with slicked back black hair and a green and black outfit armor thing on.

Just like the last time I saw him, April 7th 2016 he came back to Stark tower just to say goodbye to me. No one knew about it and I wasn't allowed to tell them about his softie moment. He wanted to remain a badass with knives that appeared out of nowhere in the public's eyes-for some reason- "Hello Adeline."
