"And then you carry that number to the top and that's how you find your answer, got it?" Chanhee asked turning to Beomgyu and Soobin to make sure they understood.

"Yeah, you know what this isn't as hard as I thought it would be."

"That's cause you don't pay attention half of the time, and just wait for Chanhee to explain it to you." Beomgyu told Soobin.

"At least I can understand it fast." Soobin mumbled back.

"Right, anyway speaking of which, how is school going for you both?" Chanhee asked writing down an example problem.

"It's okay, my grades are decent I guess. I don't know about Soobin, he's too busy staring at a friend all da-"

"Shut up no I'm not." Soobin said pushing Beomgyu lightly.

"Oo is it Yeonjun? It's so obvious Soobin likes him isn't it?" Chanhee said turning to Beomgyu.

"Right? Like at first he seemed nervous, and I mean he still does but-"

"I'm literally right here, and I do not like Yeonjun like that." Soobin scoffed hiding his face in embarrassment. "Can we just do our work please?"

"Fine." Beomgyu sighed.

Thankfully, they both dropped the subject, focusing on studying and every now and then making a lame joke.

"What time is it right now?" Chanhee asked scribbling something down on a piece of paper before looking up.

Beomgyu brought out his phone turning it on."It's barely 7:30, didn't you say you were going to be somewhere?"

Chanhee formed an "O" shape on his lips standing up to pack his stuff, and then nodded. "Yup, you can go home on your own right? I know I asked already but I'm just making sure. If not I can get someone to come get you?"

"Oh no it's okay I already told you I can take the bus. Have fun wherever you're going." Beomgyu smiled.

"Thanks." Chanhee chuckled. "Soobin, do you need a ride Monday?"

"No I'm good." He said making a dismissive gesture to Chanhee, still writing down some notes.

Chanhee nodded. "Okay, I'm off then." he then walked off, both Soobin and Beomgyu hearing his car drive away.

"Taking the bus? Can't you call your dad or something?" Soobin asked. "Plus do you have money to pay?"

Beomgyu nodded. "Well I would call him to come get me, but he messaged me earlier saying he had to go visit some relative with my mom or something I don't know." the boy explained.

"And there Beomgyu was, abandoned by his parents, all lonely and sad." Soobin joked.

"Shut up." Beomgyu laughed smacking Soobin's shoulder which caused Soobin to also erupt in laughter.

"I'm not wrong though, like they could've chosen to take you but nope." Soobin continued making Beomgyu roll his eyes playfully.

"Well jokes on you, technically I abandoned them to come here with you."

"I'm flattered." Soobin said dramatically placing his hands on his chest.

The two continued to talk for some time, before Soobin noticed the time and widened his eyes. "Uh you know, it's kinda late now. Maybe you should go home and rest since you worked hard on studying."

"It's only 8:25. Not that late." Beomgyu said raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"For you. You sleep late, so of course you think it's not that late." Soobin said as he cleared the space they had been studying on. "Come on now, out the door." Soobin said lightly pushing Beomgyu to the front door.

With a dumbfounded look on his face, Beomgyu shrugged off the way Soobin began to act and slung his backpack over his shoulder. "Okay? I'll see you Monday then-"

"Yes. Yes, you will come on." he said walking Beomgyu out the door, slamming it closed with a smile.

Signing to himself, Soobin grabbed the remote smiling at the TV.

He'd rushed Beomgyu out just so he wouldn't feel embarrassed.

Sure he could've just pretended he didn't know Yeonjum was about to show, but who knows what he could've done. Maybe called him, or bring it up at school.

"Sorry for coming in again, but I forgot my wallet- is that Yeonjun?" Beomgyu said swinging the door open walking in once again.

Soobin jumped, and turned to Beomgyu standing at his door, "OH- uh is- is it? I didn't notice. Haha..." he nervously laughed fidgeting with his fingers.

"Wow that is so incredibly awesome and cool and a total coincidence seeing his modeling work? Now come on, get whatever it was and leave, please." Soobin said at Beomgyu who was now staring at him.

Raising an eyebrow at him, he walked over to the table and grabbed his wallet, "Did you know he was going to come on?"

"What- no! No- no, how would I know? I just want to watch some TV." he cleared his throat awkwardly shifting around on the couch.

"Dude you're a terrible liar." Beomgyu then made his way to the couch sitting down next to him. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was just... I don't know. I was scared you would've thought I was weird or you could've told someone." Soobin gulped not meeting Beomgyu's gaze.

"Soobin, I would never do that. You're a really good friend of mine. I don't find you weird." Beomgyu said.

"You don't?"

"I don't."

"Oh."

There was an awkward silence. Neither of them quite knowing what to say. Beomgyu turned to Soobin who seemed to be feeling nervous and anxious and kept fidgeting around, before speaking up.

"You have a really small and old tv."

"Seriously dude?" Soobin sighed.

"Yes that thing is ancient. Probably older than my grandma."

"Isn't your grandma like 100?"

"Yeah, younger than your's."

"Leave my grandma out of this."

They both laughed.

"Thank you." Soobin said smiling a bit.

"For?"

"I don't know. Not being a dick about this." Soobin said feeling a bit better.

"Of course, I told you. You're a really good friend of mine, and don't worry I won't tell anyone I swear."

"Thank you."

"Yeah well I should get leaving since you wanted me out that badly." Beomgyu said standing up walking to the front door.

"That's not true I just didn't want you to see this." Soobin crossed his arms also walking over to the front door.

"You practically kicked me out."

"Yeah now get out, I actually want to sleep." Soobin said.

"Who on earth sleeps this early?" Beomgyu sighed.

"Babies and toddlers. Now bye I'll see you tomorrow."
