The school day had finally ended with Taehyun and Yeonjun exiting out of the auditorium, and walking towards the office to return Yeonjun's schedule.
"So how was the performing activity for you?" Taehyun asked.
"It was honestly really fun, like we're learning how to dance and sing." Yeonjun said with a smile. "Especially the teachers, Mr. Jung and Mr. Park, they were really fun too."
The teachers had been very welcoming to Yeonjun, telling him he was already really talented with dancing.
"I see." Taehyun smiled. "So do you like performing?"
"Yeah I do. I remember when I was younger, I did a small commercial and they told us to dance or some shit like that since it was for some dance studio or something, but I liked it." Yeonjun said.
"Oh that's nice- wait, a commercial?" Taehyun asked.
Yeonjun looked back at Taehyun and nodded. "Yeah, well I'm a part time model which is why I was mostly home schooled, I've been doing it for a while now."
"Really? Wow that's actually really cool." he turned to Yeonjun. "You should tell the others."
"Kai and Beomgyu? They already know. I told them at pe." Yeonjun said making Taehyun nod in understandment.
"So overall, how was your first day? I mean, you did say before it was your first time at a real school with other people in person."
"Honestly, it was a lot better than I thought." Yeonjun chuckled. "I thought it would go horribly wrong with me getting like, made fun of or something."
"Nah, if anything people were all over you." Taehyun said making Yeonjun blush.
"I wouldn't say that..." Taehyun smiled before patting Yeonjun's shoulder.
"Hey I have to get going now are you gonna be okay alone?"
"Yeah don't worry about me, go."
Taehyun nodded waving goodbye to Yeonjun as he walked away.
Yeonjun then took out his schedule yet again, and walked the rest of his way to the front office. "Hi, I'm here to turn in my schedule." he told the front office lady.
"Right, okay please hand it over."
Yeonjun handed the lady his schedule, "Okay I see you got all the classes signed. Now, do you know the way to your classes or would you like me to print out another schedule for you?"
"No, I think I know my classes well." Yeonjun said not wanting the hassle of having a schedule all day again.
The lady nodded typing something in the computer. "Well then, you can leave."
So, Yeonjun walked out the office happy that he was able to complete his first day. Well- mostly happy he wouldn't be carrying around that stupid schedule.
Now finally walking his way to exit the school, he stopped in his tracks spotting a familiar person.
He smiled jogging on over to the person. "Hey."
Soobin turned to his left seeing Yeonjun smiling enthusiastically.
Soobin couldn't help but to smile back at the boy. His smile was just contagious. "Oh hi there."
"How was your day?"
"Hmm it was good. Although I was this close to ripping up that schedule and throwing it out the window. You can not understand how annoying it was to be carrying it around." Yeonjun sighed. "How about you?"
Soobin chuckled. "Well, my day was fine I guess."
Yeonjun hummed.
Soobin opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by a sudden ringing. Yeonjun shot him an apologetic look realizing it was his phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi Yeonjun, I just called to say I'll be there to pick you up in a few minutes. Be at the same spot where I dropped you off this morning."
"Yeah okay." he then hung up turning over to Soobin. "Sorry, it was my mom."
"Oh no it's fine."
They stood there for a bit, until Yeonjun spoke again. "I mean if you want I could get my mom to drop you off at your house." he said quietly.
"Thanks for the offer, but I have to go somewhere else."
"Oh- oh no yeah- yeah, sorry um-" Soobin chuckled patting his shoulder.
"It's fine. I'll see you tomorrow?"
Yeonjun nodded watching as Soobin started walking the opposite way from him.
"Who was that?" a voice spoke from behind of Yeonjun startling him.
"Jesus, you scared me." Yeonjun turned around hugging his mother with a sigh.
"How was your day? Did you make any friends? Oh of course you did, that boy, he's your friend right? Or was he making fun of you? Do I need to sue anyone-"
"Oh my god, mom- no. My day was fine, I made a few friends." he mumbled getting into the car.
"Really? It's just," she sighed. "I'm worried, you know? I mean this is your first day in public school, and who knows what could've happened?"
"Are you- mom! Why are you crying?" Yeonjun groaned in embarrassment.
"I'm not crying, shut up." she wiped her tears with a sniff, starting the car engine.
