y/n cheekily blushed just by his name as Seonghwa's heart grimly ached. He always had adored her. Since, the time they were kids till now. He could still recall every little memory they had at Gwangju, their hometown. The way Y/n had cried a pool of tears when he had to leave to Seoul for his higher education. Seonghwa was two year elder to her, hence, he had to leave early for college at Seoul. Now, he was her senior Y/n, his junior sweetheart.
Seonghwa's fallen face was seemed to be noticed by Y/n coz she soon kissed his cheek, making his heart pound. He just gawked at her with an open mouth while her lips were pulled up in a tiny smile.
"You are the most world's most handsome man. Why you fear, huh?"
"Ah, y- you're not supposed to kiss me like this!" He said, looking anywhere but her. It made Y/n pucker her lips adorably, and he just so badly wanted to peck her.
"I always did that to you... We're friends!"
"Ok, now, let's go before I get late." He chuckled and took her arm, dragging her to collect her schedule so, she could attend her classes.
When they had toured the whole campus, Y/n gave Seonghwa those puppy eyes in the hallways which he didn't quiet figure out as to why she did.
"What?" He interrogated unaware of her sudden behavior.
"You promised me to take me on Seoul tour!"
"oh, yea. I do remember. So, how about in the evening I take you?"
Y/n's face broke out into the widest grin ever as she again tackled Seonghwa with a hug, causing him to stumble a little yet being able to catch her. Thank god that Seonghwa had those muscles, otherwise, hospital would've been the place where they'd land.
"I love you! You are the best friend!"
"I love you too, my friend." Seonghwa did pat her back while saying it out, but his heart quite didn't appreciated the last two words.
He wanted her to be his, but still desired to preserve the friendship. Spoiling the friendship of years would definitely be a wrong decision plus, Seonghwa wasn't up for it. He'd rather die with a heartbreak than breaking the bond they had. He wanted her presence near him, not a tag of 'boyfriend' on himself.
"Then, shall I see you in the evening?" Y/n pulled back and gazed at him with those feline eyes, making him gleam a little.
"I'll come to pick you up at your apartment, okay?"
"sure!"

Y/n walked in the café with Seonghwa beside her. The view making her jaw drop in the admiration. The café was so beautiful. It's dainty and pasted colored walls, warming her heart. "This is so fantastic!"
"It is, but not more than you..."
Y/n flashed him her curled lips and silently took a seat near the window. Seonghwa placed the orders and joined later soon.
"Do you hate Jungkook?" Seonghwa was taken aback by the question. He didn't expect his friend to ask him that so casually. Though he wished to yell 'yes' on top of his lungs, he gave her a mere nod.
"Yes, he is arrogant."
"But, he seems like something hit him hard in the past."
"Yea, maybe a rock hit him in the head."
"Seonghwa..." Y/n cocked her head at a side and gave Seonghwa her warning tone, whereas, he just shrugged and sighed.
"Nah, to me he has just been a cold arrogant brat. That's why, I don't like him."
y/n sighed, pondering about what could've been this hard for him that he was arrogant, cold but mostly, hurt?
She gazed outside the cafe, her view falling on the people roaming here and there. The cities are quiet unlike the village or countryside. Here it was more crowded with people walking around rather than her hometown. It was like people had almost no time for themselves.
="Wait here, I need to take this call, ok?", Y/n muttered a prompt yes, and Seonghwa went to a corner, attending his call.
=While y/n was aimlessly letting her eyes wander outside, she spotted a familiar figure walking in an alleyway with some dangerous looking men following it. Squinting her eyes, she tried to get a better view of it, and to her surprise it was none other than Jungkook behind whom those men trailed. She hastily made her way out of the cafe, without informing Seonghwa and ran over to the location. Worried about what those men could be doing to Jungkook.
Upon reaching, she saw Jungkook glaring at those men. She hid in the corner and attempted to see the whole show.
"What do you need, Donghyun and monkeys?!"Jungkook cockily asked the whole crew and they erupted in a fit of laughter.
"What a joke, Jeon. Come on, we know about your past now."
Jungkook's breath hitched in his throat. How these local gangsters did come to know about his past? He very well was aware that they knew Anna now.
He let out a shaky breath, trying to calm himself down. He needed to act oblivious. If they knew Anna affected him, they'd always bring her up. "what past?"
"you know what past."
Jungkook snarled at the men, hitting him right in his face unable to hold himself. The only thing he couldn't tolerate was someone talking about Anna. He had lost her but his love for her in his heart was still alive.
He kicked and punched the guys who were throwing blows at him. Jungkook had specially trained in self-defense and boxing after Anna went.
He was horrified of not being able to protect his treasure and the thing just got fixated into his head manically. He loved fighting. The low guttural sounds made by the opponents bought peace to his heart. He always imagined the guy who took away his sunshine in anyone he hit. And that's what always got him senseless. He would fight like an insane bull yet, he tried his best to not hit them in such a way that'd make them end up in hospital for weeks.
Y/n shivered in fear on seeing this new perspective of Jungkook. She knew he was scary, but not that he was this fierce when it comes to fighting. She hugged her knees, trying to lessen the voice of gasps that were falling out. Whereas, Jungkook didn't spare any one of them. They begged him to stop as they couldn't take it anymore.
Jungkook halted, understanding that they'd had enough and glared at them. He squatted down to their miserable level, his eyes shooting draggers into their souls. "Stay away from me."
They nodded hurriedly, picking their torn selves up and exiting the alleyway in the rush. They were petrified of Jungkook. I mean, who wouldn't be if he acts like this all of a sudden.
Jungkook wasn't a psychopath, but anyone mentioning Anna made him way too much angry. He had hit those low quality gangsters hard, but not badly for them to end up in the clinic. They'd probably be fine after getting first aid at their home.
He dusted his sleeves, getting up and making his way out, but stopping as soon as he saw a petite frame hiding behind an even smaller box. He went up to it, only to see y/n looking up at him with her doe orbs. She knew Jungkook had caught her now and there was no way escaping.
Jungkook's eyes widened when they fell on her. How could she just follow him anywhere? he clenched his jaw, glaring at her with the most murderous expression, What are you doing here?"
