"What are you doing here?" He questioned through gritted teeth, making her fiddle with her fingers.
If she'd tell that she just wanted to catch a glimpse of him, he'd kill her. Inhaling a sharp breath, Y/n nervously nibbled on her bottom lip. The nervousness taking over her deliberately. Oh god, what was she to answer Jungkook? "Uh.... I... I..."
Jungkook pushed her against the wall, slamming a hand right beside her and caging her under him. His eyes bore deep into her soul, while he said the following syllables, "You have some guts to follow me... But, next time you do this nonsense, I won't show mercy. you must've already seen the way I beat them up. Don't try to be the next one.
y/n's body shook under him. She was regretting her decision to follow him. But, her heart was sure that he wouldn't lay a finger on her. He must look like a bad guy, still he definitely wasn't merciless to hurt her. She knew he'd fall for her sooner or later, just some efforts were needed to be made.
However, to escape situation, she whispered a silent 'yes' and Jungkook backed off. Shooting her a final snarl, he left the place, leaving her in the alleyway. After he went, a sigh fell from her lips. Thank god he hadn't hit her. He would've not anyway, but still she feared it.
She walked back to the cafe to Seonghwa, who was desperately looking around while his back faced her. She cursed herself and gently tapped his shoulder, causing him to turn to look at her.
As soon as he did, he immediately engulfed her in an embrace. She smiled and patted his back. She knew Seonghwa easily got worried whenever she went missing. her friend was too protective, and she felt fortified when with him, "Woman you scared me!"
"Um, sorry... hehe"
Seonghwa pulled back and examined her face, making sure she wasn't hurt anywhere or anything hadn't happened to her. "Where were you?"
"Um, I saw a kitten going in the alleyway so, I followed it. Sorry." Y/n plainly lied whereas, Seonghwa let out a exhale in relied. He was glad that she hadn't gotten into any trouble.
"ok, but don't do that next time, hmm?" Seonghwa stated in a motherly tone and Y/n nodded. She knew Seonghwa was worried, plus she wasn't ready to get him anxious the other time too.
"Anyway, I bought something for us...", Seonghwa removed a small box from his pocket, holding it in front of her. Her brows furrowed in confusion when she saw it. What could that be?
Seeming to understand her, Seonghwa opened the box, revealing two platinum bracelets with their names engraved on them. Y/n gasped, seeing those. Her heart couldn't register that Seonghwa had done this.
She looked at him with those doe eyes of hers, causing him to chuckle lightly. "No, they're not couple bracelets. This is for me and you as friends."
𝘚𝘩𝘦 rolled her eyes jokingly at his reply. She wasn't shocked coz they looked like couple bracelets but coz they seemed too extravagant. "Not that, they look too expensive, Seonghwa."
"it's alright. I bought it for us coz I wanted to. Give me your hand."
"But-"
"No buts!" He softly clipped the bracelet on her wrist while she effervesced with enthrall. How honey-like could Seonghwa be now?
After hers was done, Seonghwa put the bracelet for himself too. They both clinked their bracelets, taking photos and enjoying their time in the café. And, also why wouldn't they? Meeting your friend after thee-four years, of course, is a big deal, isn't it?
The night passed by smoothly. Seonghwa had dropped Y/n off to her apartment and now, she laid there in her bed, staring at the canopy. Her mind seeming to race back to Jungkook. She pondered what had been so hard for him that he's gotten like this. Y/n was sure of the fact that Jungkook wasn't before what he is now.
Something has transformed him into what he is. He appeared way more than he presented. She wished to go back to him and engulf him in her embrace, calming his nerves down and letting him cry to ease his agony. But, impossible, wasn't it?
The slumber encompassed her while she was still lost in her thinking, and when she was awake, it was almost the time she should depart for the college. The first person to cross her mind in the morning was Jungkook again. She just couldn't seem to get that guy outta her head. It was like he had glued himself inside her mind. Exhaling, she got up, doing her routing and then making her way to the college.
The start after entering the college being as usual with Seonghwa greeting her. They shared some talks and laughed about random aimless things. Also, it wasn't long until Jungkook held her hand out of the blue, making them both go stun.
Seonghwa's blood boiled when he saw Jungkook touching her. He wanted to rip his hands off, but he was helpless, "Leave."
"i don't want to." Jungkook pulled her in a corner, their faces being inched away from each other. Seonghwa watched everything from afar, his heart giving him a sharp pain at Jungkook's every action.
Whereas, Y/n was petrified. There were butterflies in her stomach, and also, fear in her mind. "wh- what?"
"You better learn to not follow me again."
"i told you I won't follow you..."
"Then why did I see you and your boyfriend out of my apartment?"
