Season 3 Episode 8 - Better Person

PREVIOUSLY:
Roxy lied to Nathan about the real identity of his Father.
Clay got ready for his meeting.
Juice told Half Sack to back off.
Jax threatened Mason.
Tara discovered the truth of Mason's beating.

Roxy is laying on the couch with Juice late at night as they are watching a film when Roxy's cellphone rings. Juice says "Thats you Babe" and Roxy reaches over towards the coffee table and picks up her cellphone and looks at the caller ID and says "It's my mom" and they look at each other with confusion because of the time of night it was. Roxy presses the cellphone to her ear and says "Mom?" Gemma says "Hey Baby, sorry about the time but you and Juice have gotta come to the clubhouse" and Roxy asks "Now?" Gemma answers "Yeah right now" and Roxy asks "Why? What happened?" Gemma says "The Mayans tried to kill your Dad tonight at the meeting, we're having a lock in" and Roxy looks worried to Juice as Juice softly asks "What?" Roxy asks "Is Dad alright?" Gemma says "Yeah, he's safe. Just you and Juice and the kids get to the clubhouse now Babygirl okay?" Roxy says "Yeah, Mom we're on our way" and Roxy ends the call. Roxy stands up leaving a confused Juice still seated on the couch Roxy says " We gotta go to the clubhouse" Juice stands up and asks "Why? Everything alright?" Roxy shakes her head as tears threatened to spill from her eyes and says "The Mayans tried to kill My Dad at the meeting with Michael, we gotta go to the clubhouse. It's a lock in, you pack a bag and I'll wake the kids" and Juice nods as Roxy scurries off.

At the clubhouse Clay is sitting on a barstool cleaning his shotgun as Gemma paces up and down anxiously and Piney says "Gemma relax" and Gemma snaps "Don't tell me to relax!". Piney looks taken back and Clay says "Gem, they'll be here" and Gemma says "Clay that was over a hour I called her. It's just like the Mayans to get to you by getting to her!" Jax is holding Abel and says "I can swing by the house and hurry her along" and Gemma looks to Jax and smiles and says "That'd be great Baby, Thank you. Go and check on your Sister" Jax nods and Clay says as looks at Opie "Go with him" and Opie nods. As Jax passes Abel over to Wendy and him and Opie walk towards the clubhouse door, Juice walks in carrying the twins baby car seat and Gemma says in relief "Oh Thank God!" and Roxy walks in holding Nathan's hand and Juice says "Sorry, the traffic was a Bitch" and Roxy looks to Clay and rushes over to Clay and engulfs him in a large hug and says "Daddy!" Clay says "I'm okay Babygirl, don't worry" and Roxy sighs and says "What happens now?" Jax says "Its a Lock in until we sort out The Mayans" and Roxy nods.

Roxy is in the dorm room at the clubhouse folding clothes when Tig walks in and asks "You alright Doll?" Roxy says "Yeah Tiggy, what about you? You're the one that got shot at?" Tig says "I'm breathing aren't I?" Roxy nods and says "Thank you for being there and saving my Dad, without you he would probably have a bullet in him right now" and Tig shrugs his shoulders and says "Its no trouble...you alright though? You don't look too good" Roxy sits on the edge of the bed and says "I'm just worried about my Dad, and what happens next" and Tig asks with a head tilt "You sure thats all that's troubling ya?" Roxy deeply sighs and says "Mason went to Nathan and told him that he was his Father" and Tig says "Oh shit". Juice walks down the hallway but can hear Tig and Roxy's conversation and stands back and eavesdrops on their conversation. Roxy continues "I had to tell that Nathan that Mason was his Dad" and Tig says "I've said it before, but it's better off if everyone thinks that Mason is his Dad. Nobody can know the truth Rox and you know that" and Roxy nods and says "Yeah I guess you're right, I just hate lying to my Family and The Club" and Tig approaches Roxy and sits beside Roxy on the bed and wraps his arm around her and kisses her temple and says "I know you do Babydoll".

Clay puts his now cleaned shotgun down on the bar counter and looks to his club members and says "Chapel meeting kids let's go" and Roxy smiles at Juice but Juice frowns at Roxy and walks into The Chapel and Roxy looks in confusion as she cradles Emily and Gemma looks between Juice and Roxy. As all of The Sons walk into Chapel and Half Sack shuts the door.

Later that day Jax is cradling Abel in the dormitory room as he looks down to Nathan and Emily and Colson fast asleep in the large bed. Tara enters the room and Jax smiles and says "Hey Babe, sorry to drag you over here I just had to make sure you were safe" Tara says "Thats okay...Actually I need to speak to you" Jax looks to Tara and asks "Okay?". Tara says "Mason is in hospital, he's badly beaten" and Jax says "Okay, so?" Tara asks "Do you not have anything to say about that?" Jax shrugs his shoulders as he glances down to his Son and says "Whoever did that to him, deserve a medal. It couldn't have happened to a better person" Tara scoffs in disbelief and says "You're seriously gonna stand there and lie to my face?! I know it was you Jax" and Jax looks down and Tara scoffs in disbelief and says "Unbelievable" and she storms off out of the room as Jax calls after her.
