Chapter 9

CANCER'S POV

It's the first day of classes, and everyone has noticeable annoyance on their faces.

Everyone except for Virgo of course.

He's always the first one to class a huge smile on his face.

"Can you stop smiling so much it's too early for that." I say a little disgusted at his excitement for our first math class of the year.

"Just because y'all hate school doesn't mean I have to act miserable as well. For your information I enjoy learning."

"Yeah I know that, it's weird. " I laugh.

We've always bickered like this, but we are best friends. It's a weird dynamic we have here. He's more logical and I'm the emotional half of the friendship, but it works for us.

"Hey guys" Taurus walks in with Aqua and libra.

"Hey. Aquarius tell your mom that it's too early to have math as our first class." I whine

"Trust me I've tried, but she just straight up ignored me." I laugh.

"Well I like mat-" Virgo starts.

"WE KNOW" We interrupt him. Then we all laugh.

After math and english we finally had a break for lunch.

Taurus practically ran, dragging aqua behind her.

The five of us took our food outside where we sat under a tree.

"It's a sad movie of course I cried!" I yell

"Yeah but you literally balled your eyes out." Taurus laughs.

"Well I'm an emotional person, and it's sad that Jack wasn't able to survive." I defend. Titanic makes me cry every time, I watched it with Taurus once and she makes fun of me ever since.

"Honestly there was room for him, I don't know why rose just let him go." Libra shrugs

"Exactly! " Aqua and Virgo yell in unison.

Soon the rest of the class joined us.

"Super random, but who in the class do you think would survive a Zombie apocalypse? " I ask.

"I feel like Taurus, Virgo, Aquarius and Capricorn would survive because they are pretty smart." Aries States.

"If we're talking about strength then I think Aries, scorpio, Sagittarius and pisces would survive." Gemini suggests

"I would never survive, I might look strong but I'm actually a giant baby." Pisces says making us laugh.

"I know who would die first." Cap says looking at me.

I almost am offended until I think about it.

"Nah you're actually right." I shrug.

We continued to talk about it some more until the end of lunch.

Our whole class doesn't usually hangout together, it's fun though.

CAPRICORN'S POV

"How bad was it?" I ask Scorpio afraid of his answer.

"Well you asked her to cuddle.... Soooo pretty bad." He laughs.

I facepalm, I can not believe I said that.

"I'm never getting drunk again."

"Yeah you always say that, then your passed out at the next party." Taurus says behind me.

"I'm sorry about the other night. " I apologize.

"It's fine, I'm used to it. You should be apologizing for almost getting me in trouble though. I almost got caught in your room. But Scorpio saved me." She says smiling at him, he smiles back.

I feel a slight pinch in my chest at the sight, I don't know why though.

"Well I owe you now, so ask for anything and I'll do it for you" I say putting my arm around her shoulder.

"Do my French homework. " She pouts looking up at me.
I nod.

"Ill help  when he's drunk next time if it means he'll do my homework for me too. " Scorpio whines.

Scorpio 's POV

As Capricorn, Taurus and I walk out to the court yard, cap stops for a second.

"Hey Taurus isnt that your dad?" Capricorn asks

Taurus turns her head to the direction he mentioned.

I feel a pit in my stomach when I do the same and see a well dressed man standing by his car.

"Yeah it is, He didn't tell me he was coming" she says confused "give me second. "

She then heads toward her dad and gives him a hug.

My heart drops when they starts to walk towards Capricorn and I.

I didn't think seeing him after all of these years would make me this mad.

I clench my fist, trying to suppress my anger and control myself.

"Hey Mr Blackwell. " Capricorn greets, shaking his hand.

"Dad, this is Scorpio he's new." She says.

He just smiles and shakes my hand. That's it, like he didn't even remember who I was.

He wasn't even my real father, but at the time he felt like one. He made my mom and I feel like our lives were finally looking up, but of course we have the worst luck. As much as I hate to say it, I can't help but think of her dad when I look at Taurus. And I don't think I can deal with that without lashing out.

"If you'll excuse me I have something to do. I'll see you at the dorm cap." I make up before leaving.

I run to the bathroom and let out a deep sigh.

"Fuck scorpio, you are not going to cry, not over that asshole! " I yell to myself.

If I ever have to see that man's face again I might actually lose it.

Oh what I would do to get revenge on that Jack ass and make his life a living hell.

Sorry it has taken so long for me to post, I've had writers block.

I just want to add that this story is kind of just a fun side hobby for me. So I won't really have a very consistent uploading schedule. I'll just add to the story when I think of a fun idea!
