Chapter 10

Leo's pov

"Meet me on the roof in 10 mins. "

I read as I quickly glance at my phone.

"Leo, are you listening? " Gemini asks. I nod, after zoning out for a second.

"Yeah, yeah, your dad said if you spend 1 more cent on a 50 dollar candle, he's cutting you off."

"Isn't that ridiculous?!? " she screaches actual sadness in her eyes. She loves her candles.

"I have to go, my assignment for math is due tomorrow, I'll see you guys later." I lie. I hate lying to my friends, but honestly it's better than the truth.

I walk up what feels like 50 flights of stairs. When I finally get to the top I take a second to catch my breath before opening the door to the roof.

My heart stops when I see what's on it. Aries decorated the whole roof, a blanket in the middle with food on it.

"Stoppp, you did not do this Aries! " I say tears starting to well in my eyes. I run and give him a bear hug, not wanting to let go.

"I know how horrible you've been feeling about not telling Gem about us, soo I thought this could make you feel a little better."

"Thank you so so much, Aries, I love it. " I look up at him, our eyes meeting. He brings his face down so I can reach his lips. I swear everytime I kiss him, it feels like heaven.

"Ewwww, noooo you know I hate olives." I scream as Aries shoves an olive towards me.

"Yupp and I love them. " he says as he dramatically eats one.

"You are annoying."

"And you love that." He smirks. Kissing my cheek.

All of sudden we are broken out of our moment by the door swinging open.

Libra walks onto the roof, then stops in her steps.

"Oh shit, am I interrupting something." She asks awkwardly.

"Aries you said nobody comes up here."

He just shrugs.

"Sorry, I like hanging out on roofs sometimes, but I'll comeback later. "

"Sorry we'll be done soon." I say feeling bad.

After opening the door to leave, Libra stops. And starts laughing.

Both of us turn towards her, confused.

"Remember how you thought nobody comes up here? " she chuckles. " Gemini is on her way."

My eyes go wide.

"Holy shit this is not happening! "
I panic "Aries what do we do?! "

"I don't know! Libra, Gemini isn't supposed to know about Leo and i. You have to help us hide"

She starts to piece the puzzle together.

"I have an Idea." She suddenly blurts out.

Gemini's POV

"I told you I left my jacket when i was last up here. Sag"

"Are you sure, because I swear if we climbed all of these stairs for noth-" we both stop in our tracks when we open the door to see Libra sitting at a picnic.... With MY BROTHER!

"What the hell? "

"What are you doing here. " he asks me.

"I left my jacket here, I thought nobody came up here."

"Yeah well I thought the same thing, but I guess that's just our twin telepathy. " he chuckles nervously.

That was weird, he never says things like that unless he's nervous.

"Are you guys on a-a date? " a little confused since Libra just started going here and I've never seen them hangout.

"Yeah we are haveing a date, and our first one ever, so would you please leave! "

"Fine fine, I'm going."

Sag and I head out the door.

"Well that was fucking weird." Sag says.

"Yeah it was, but I've never seen him do that much for a girl, he must really like her. You know how he usually is."

"Yup, his last " girlfriend " lasted less than a week."

I love my brother but he's a real player and I don't think I've ever seen him be serious with a girl. He must be changing if he did all this for libra. I'm happy for him.

Aries' pov

As soon as I hear Gemini's footsteps get farther down the steps I immediately go to get Leo who had to hide behind a giant vent.

When I lend my hand out to help her up, she doesn't even glance at me before walking past me.

"Leo, what's wrong. Are you hurt. " I ask worried.

She finally looks at me, her eyes seem angry and sad at the same time.

"I'm going to leave you two alone again, ok. " libra says I nod as a thank you for helping us then turn my attention back to Leo who is now crying.

"Baby, what's wrong? " I ask again stepping closer to her.

"Is it true that your last girlfriend lasted less than a week? " I'm taken back by the question, it was so random.

"Where did you hear that? "

"Gem and sag were talking about how you never are serious about the girls you date."

"Leo, I know that sounds bad, but I promise that I am 1000%
serious about you. I enjoy every moment I'm with you. You make my heart beat faster every time I lay eyes on you. I've never felt this way before. "

I pour out every word that comes to mind to express how much I appreciate Leo. I want her to know that I think she is the most amazing women I've ever met.

She stares into my eyes , like shes trying to see if everything I'm saying is true. Her features soften, before she envelopes me in a big hug. I melt into it, so thankful that she believes me.

"I'm sorry Aries, I can see that you've changed. I'm just so stressed out about gem and I just started to feel like I might be making a mistake starting this relationship. " she pauses, I feel a slight pinch in my chest " but I know that it isn't a mistake, because no one has every treated me the way you do, no one has ever made me feel this special." She hugs me again. I can't help but pick her up, hugging her even tighter.

When I put her down she looks up into my eyes.

"I - I love you Aries. " she stutters. Her face turning red from blushing.

My stomach fills with butterflies at her words.
In a swift move I smash our lips together, kissing them with the passion
Of 100 suns.

When I pull away I look at her the same way she did to me.

"I love you too, Leo."
