Chapter 14

LEO'S POV

You'd think that after there being a huge fight the last time we all went to a party, we'd take a little break from parties. Yet here I am walking into Gemini's house for her annual Halloween party. These usually get pretty crazy. I just hope there aren't any huge fights. Especially not like last year's.

The place is already packed, I love looking at everyones costumes.

I decided on dressing up as Hermione. I gently push my way through the crowd, trying to find Sag and Gem. I end up finding Gem by the drinks. She's dressed as Cassie from Euphoria.

"Leo! You're hereee, omg you look amazing! I need to take a picture of you and Aries."  The mention of his name makes me nervous.

"W-what, why would you want me to take a picture with your brother." I try to laugh it off, even though my heart is racing.

"He dressed up as Ron! You guys will look so cute. They are like friends in the movie right! " Gemini says never having watched Harry Potter.

"Mhm, yup they're friends!" I smile, my heart starting to go back to normal. But a little blush starts to form on my cheeks when I see Aries from across the room, our eyes meet. I can't help but smile, he looks so cute with his ginger wig and oversized robe.

God I can't wait for the time when I can just run up and kiss him in front of everyone, not caring about who's watching. Not worrying about Gem finding out. I'm sick of hiding, But I'm even more scared of her finding out.

After Gem takes a pic of Aries and I she goes off to look for Sag.

"You didn't tell me you were going to be Ron! " I say playfully hitting his chest.

"It was a surprise that's why, you look beautiful by the way." He says making me blush.

"Gosh I want to kiss you so badly" I say as I bite my lip.

He quickly grabs my hand before leading me upstairs to his room.

Where no ones around.

He opens the door then quickly shuts it behind us, before pushing me up against it, smashing his lips against mine. My hands move to his head, my fingers running through his hair.

"How are you hot even in an oversized robe? " he says as he trails kisses down my neck. His words make me smile.

"Aries, we are not having sex in your room when there are like a hundred people downstairs." I laugh.

"But I miss you. " he pouts after kissing my lips one more time.

"I do too, but Gem is downstairs and it's making me anxious!"

"We never get alone time, either you're with Gem, or we have class. I just want to have some time to ourselves without worrying."

"I do too,  trust me Aries I would spend every moment I have with you if I could. But - "

"But my sister. I know, I know. Look leo, I know you're worried that the same thing that happened between me, Jess and Gem is going to happen again. But, you are so much closer to Gem, you guys are best friends, I don't think she'll mess that up just because you are dating me."

I look up at Aries, my heart breaking a bit. I feel so bad for having to hide and I know it's not just me that's suffering.

But Gem totally cut Jess off when she found out she was dating Aries. There have been so many times where Gem's "friends" would only get close to her so they could get to Aries. I don't want her to think that I would do that to her, I don't want to see her hurt like that again.

She's my best friend..... But I am in love with her brother.

AQUARIUS' POV

"YESSSS! THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR SHIT TALKING! " I yell as my ping pong makes it into the red solo cup, after Taurus and Cap doubted me. I may be tipsy, but I'm a master at beer pong.

"Nice!" Scorpio says giving me a high five.

We are 2 points ahead of Cap and Taurus' team.

"Don't get too excited, we still have time to catch up, first to 10 points wins." Taurus says.

10 minutes later, we are tied with Cap and Taurus and it's their turn.

"If we make this we win!" Cap brags.

Scorpio and I look at each other. We look at Cap getting into position, one of his eyes is closed as he focuses his aim in the cup.

I close my eyes as he throws the ping pong. I don't want to open my eyes, but I hear Taurus and cap cheering signaling that they won.

"Dammit!" Scorpio sighs.

"I'm going to go get some chips, anyone want some?" I ask

"Yes plz! " Taurus raises her hand.

I smile before heading over to the snack table.

I see Sag sitting alone. She looks a little down.

"Hey you look great, are you Dion from Clueless?! " I ask genuinely impressed with her costume. I'm not going to lie, she looks beautiful.

"Oh yeah I am, thank you." She smiles, I've never been very close with sag because of the beef between Gem and Taurus. I mean we've talked a couple times, but not for very long.

"What's wrong, you seem a little down." I ask.

"I'm not really in the party mood. Before I got here I found out I'm going to have to stay at the school for the next couple of weekends cause my mom is going on a long business trip." She says.

"If you need anyone to hang out with, I'll be at the school too. I mean, since I basically live right next to it." I offer. She looks up at me with a smile.

I'm afraid to admit it, but her smile just melted my heart.

SCORPIO'S POV

As the party starts to die out a bit, people start to leave. Without all of the people in the house, you can see just how big it is. I've honestly never been in a house this big. Gem and Aries are very very lucky.

As I head over to the snack table next to the doorway, I see Taurus waving her hands, I can tell she's angry. As I get closer I see who she's yelling at.
Ethan, the guy who Capricorn fought is in the doorway trying to get in. I can see Taurus struggling to push him back.

In a split moment he pushes through, causing Taurus to fall. He walks past her, not even batting an eye at what he did, 2 guys following in behind him.

I have an extreme hatred for men who don't care about hurting women.

As he tries to walk past me, I stand in front of him.

"Get out of my fucking way dude." He grunts, the 2 guys stand behind him.

"Yeah, I don't think you're welcome here so I suggest you leave before I punch you even harder than Cap did." I nudge my head to the side signaling Taurus to get Cap and Aries.

"Ethan we told you that you couldn't come this year because of what you did." Aries says as he stands behind me.

"Where is your friend I want to fight him when I'm sober."

"Do you hear how stupid you sound, just go home." Aquarius says.

Cap suddenly pushes through the crowns that has formed.

"Dude, you already had your face rearanged, would you like me to do it again."

Cap steps in between me and Ethan.

In the blink of an eye, Ethan throws a punch right against Caps face.

"For fucks sake, not again."

Next thing I know, I'm fighting one of Ethan's friends, Aries is doing the same thing next to me.

Does every party with these people always have to end in a fist fight.
