"Jimin-"
A hard punch came in contact with his jaw throwing him backward.
The envelope and tickets landing far away from his reach.
Stumbling over the low leveled stairs Jungkook fell onto the cement pavement.
Groaning he tried to stand up but was stopped when the angered male straddled his waist, raising his hand to punch him again.
Instinctively he shut his eyes and move his head to the left to receive what he had to.
But felt nothing just sudden wetness on his right cheek.
Flinching he opened his doe eyes to look straight into his opponent's stare.
Jimin's eyes watered as fresh tears ran on his rosy cheeks.
His eyes holding a lot of emotions at once.
Sadness.
Loss.
Anger.
Pain.
His fisted hands in the air as he looked at him.
Questioning.
Why?
A question Jungkook had no answer to.
" Take care of him for me?"
Y/n's words rang in his mind.
They had not been able to catch her from falling hard.
But this was what Jimin could do for her.
Jungkook watched his elder get up from him.
Dusting himself, he looked at him.
Jungkook eyes widening when Jimin lent his hand towards him.
"Get up," he told him.
Words are thrown at him like ice.
But he didn't intend to sound like that.
Accepting his hand Jungkook got up.
Jimin looked at him and then at the envelope that lay far away from them.
Walking away from Jungkook he got hold of the tickets and envelope.
Jimin took one of the tickets and handed the other to Jungkook.
Jungkook looked at the one red ticket in his hand and then at Jimin.
To see his palm reached out towards him.
And on his palm lay a peach-colored box with a white ribbon tied to hold it together.
"For you..." Jimin said breaking Jungkook from his thoughts.
"Hyung-"
"Take it Jungkook..."
Hurt flashed in Jungkook's eyes.
But he could do nothing.
He deserved it.
Hesitantly he reached out to take the box to his palm. His heartbeat quickened as he tugs at the white ribbon. The peach-colored walls fell instantly and rose petals covered his palm and some of it fell. The wind blew caressing their faces and making the light red petals float into the air.
His eyes catching the sight of the bright chrome ring that lay on a few red petals.
Hesitantly he reached for the golden ring. Touching it brought back memories of unfulfilled wishes that were promised.
Something she never took off.
Even when promises were broken.
She kept hers.
