Tears

Tears fell from his eyes and time seemed to stop. Jimin watched Jungkook break down infront of him and his eyes teared.

He always loved Jungkook like his own. Doe eyes looked up at him as he broke down. Clutching the ring closer to his chest he lowered his gaze unable to hold this pain. Feeling the same pain Y/n might have felt when she found out.

His eyes caught familiar writing on the square surface of the box.

Jungkook-ah...I don't think I'll be able to fulfill this promise with you.

So take it back.....Give it to the one person that you'll cherish in life....

Jungkook looked at it and cried harder. Tears uncontrollably falling off his eyes.....

Suddenly arms wrapped around his shoulder and he instantly melted into his embrace.

"Cry it all out Jungkook-ah..." Namjoon's deep voice soothed him down.

Unable to look up he accepted his request.

And Jimin turned to leave as Namjoon stood there doing what he had to.

Comforting him.

Jimin itself couldn't face him because of the growing guilt and shame that he rose in.

If life gave him a chance to turn back time.

He would have tried harder to stop what is happening now.

Crying to himself he left the place in tears.

"It's okay Jungkook-ah..."

"I-"

"We don't hate you..." he sighed at the younger's devastated state.

The younger looked down unable to face everything he had done then.

"I don't think there's anything left to hate in me for you...?" he sniffed.

"Jungkook-"

"It's okay hyung. I've realized how much of an asshole I've been. I don't seek forgiveness from you for what I've done to you. The countless times I hurt you by my words. You can't forgive me. It's okay for you to be disappointed in me. It's okay to tell me everything's fallen apart now...." he said looking up at Namjoon.

For the first time, Namjoon didn't know to answer back or console him.

"I'm sorry hyung..." he said one last time before heading towards the ride that waited for him.

Namjoon looked at him and sighed.

"What did you do to yourself Jungkook-ah?"
