It was almost Christmas.

Everything had turned up fine.

He had made up things with Jimin at last.

He had come shopping with Tae and Jimin.

As they walked into different stores as the smell of hot chocolate and marshmallows arose he remembered her.

How she would compete with Taehyung to hold many marshmallows as possible in her mouth to win.

How she stuffed her cheeks until they puffed.

How she laughed until her eyes disappeared and how her cheeks tinted in pink.

How her concern grew when Taehyung choked. But laughed again after he got his breath back.

All those times she yelled as she sang. Missing the rhythm and making up new lines as she forgot the world.

Numerous times, she burned the cookies when Taehyung and Jin cracked up lame jokes.

All those times she cuddled up to him as they did movie marathons.

Everything made him just so empty. His mind was too focused on her that he forgot Jimin's call until he received a flick on his forehead by Taehyung.

"Yah! Are you planning to stay here?" Jimin questioned.

"N-no.." he stuttered and walked away leaving them behind. Scoffing they ran towards him to catch up.

"So what did you buy?" Jimin questioned.

"You call it a gift for a purpose Jimin." Taehyung sighed. "It's supposed to be something you discover on your own."

Sighing Jimin pouted as Jungkook giggled at him.

"So how many did you take?"

"7," Tae answered.

"Me too."

"8," Jungkook answered.

"Eight? For?"

Taehyung sighed and smacked his head.

"You are growing stupider day by day aren't you?" he said.

"Ah...Sorry, I'm so dumb" Jimin said in sarcasm.

"It's okay you are forgiven."

Jungkook looked at them and smiled.

Knowing if Y/n was here she'd also bicker with them.

It didn't matter how many Christmases passed without her.

But he promised himself to change.

To become better.

To give her the best when the time came.

And he was willing to wait.

Even if cost him more than it should.
