The walls were white with small window every few steps. The catwalk was what seemed like forever, walking down the catwalk with Bucky and Sam was slightly more comforting than walking alone. The guard walking behind us keeping a close distance to make sure nothing goes wrong in our visit.

"He's just through that corridor" The guard informed

"Alright, give us a sec" The guard walked away from us giving us privacy.

"I'm gonna go in with Y/n" Your brother said. You raised your eyebrows in disbelief, the ten Russian words still affected you. So you quickly responded with

"James, he knows those words probably better than his own name"

"So?"

"Those words may not have an affect on you anymore because of your little cure you got in Wakanda. but I'm not fixed"

"Fine then, but Sam's not coming with me"

"Why" Sam's voice confused

"You're an Avenger. You know how he feels about that"

""It's not like you two were known for frolickin' in the sun together" You couldn't help but laugh a little.

"He was obsessed with HYDRA. We have a history together, trust me. I got it" Bucky insisted walking away from us.

You and Sam were left in the empty hallway in silence.

"Are you okay" Sam asked breaking the silence.

"Yeah, it's just........ Nevermind"

You and Sam stood there not knowing what to do, the awkward silence was filling the room. You decided to hack you way to the security footage.

As the thick metal doors opened for Bucky the more anxious you got. The guard walked In front of Bucky, leading him to a glass cell where sat a man in the dark end. Bucky stood in front of the glass waiting for him to speak

Behind the screens where you were. you felt a high pitch sound fill your ears clutching your eye close bringing your cold hand to you forehead. Sam noticed looking at you concerned

The more those words slipped from his tongue, the more irritating the high pitched sound got. You than quickly put your hands on your ears hopping it would go away. You heard all the screams of the innocent people you killed.

You got off your chair throwing yourself to the wall, feeling the room closing in on you. Sam quickly muted the footage looking back to you seeing tears streaming down you pale face, your breathing was uneven. Sam's first instinct was to pull you close to him, feeling the warmth of his touch made you feel safe. Your breathing slowly slowed down, you looked at his empathic face before throwing your arms around his waist hugging him back. "It's ok..... your safe" He whispered in your ear.

"WHAT DO YOU MRAN you want to break Zemo outta jail, where are we Buck? Have you lost your mind?"

"We have no leads, no moves, nothing"

"What we have in one of the most dangerous men in the world behind bars" Sam said

"We also have eight Super Soldiers that are loose"

"Zemo's gonna mess with our minds. Especially yours. No offence"

"None taken" You answered

"Super soldiers go against everything he believes in. He is crazy but he still has a code" Bucky responded

"I've been on the wrong side of that code and so have you and your sister. He blew up the UN, he killed king T'chaka and framed you for it. Did you forget that? You think the Wakandans forgot about it? It's a rhetorical question. They didn't" Bucky quickly looked at Sam

"I know why this matters to you but its pushing you off the deep end and your pulling your sister with you" You looked at Sam realizing how much he really cared for you.

"We don't know how they're gettin' the serum. We don't even know how many of them there are" Bucky said with his voice raised.

"Let me just walk you through a hypothetical, can I"

"What did you do" You asked

"I didn't do anything"

"Look the weakest point in any system isn't the software, the hardware, its the meatware, the human element. Now, in this lockup, it's nine to one, prisoners to guards. And if two prisoners start fighting then the protocol says four guards have to respond

" So why would two prisoners randomly start fighting at that moment?"

"Who knows? There could be many reasons.... But the point is, these thigs escalate.

"Lockdown procedure would have to be initiated" You spoke. Bucky nodded

"And with all those bodies flying around left and right, wouldn't be hard to slip down a hallway or two. And if the fire alarm got tripped while the prisoners were being separated, someone could use the chaos to their advantage"

"I don't like how casual you're bein' about this, this is unatural. Are you. And where are we, man?" Sam asked. Suddenly you heard a door open, you and Sam look at the entrance seeing a shadow of a person in a prison guard uniform.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa"

"What are you doing here" Sam yelled walking towards Zemo

"No, listen. I didn't tell cause I knew you wouldn't let his happen" Bucky stood in between Sam and Zemo

"What did you do" You yelled at Bucky

"We need him"

"You're going back to prison!" Sam yelled back

"If I may..."

"NO" Sam and Bucky said at the same time. Zemo quickly shut his mouth "Apologies" Zemo whispered

"When Steve refused to sign the Sokovia Accords, you backed him. You broke the law, and you stuck you neck out at me. I'm asking you to do it again"

"I really think I'm invaluable"

"Shut up" You cut him off

"Okay. If we do this, you don't make a mve without our permission"

"Fair"

"Okay Zemo. Where do we start"
