[THIRD POV]

Kenma and (Y/N) sat next to each other for the rest of the plane ride. The two of them were talking quietly, as chatter died down in the night time. 

But, the two of them hadn't planned to catch any shut-eye for the night.

Kenma held her small hands, rubbing the back of her palm. She leaned against him as he talked to her about the future.

"I want you to learn how to shoot and manage a gun," Kenma tells her in his soft tone, "That way, if anything were to happen, and I am unable to help you, you will know what to do."

"Do you think I am capable of killing a man?" (Y/N) asks Kenma in all honesty, "Tell me the truth, Kenma."

Kenma thought for a moment, then he laughed. 

"No, not at all," Kenma answered, "But I believe there will be one time throughout your life where you will believe that a man's death is all you would ever want."

"Then whoever he will be," (Y/N) said, shifting in her position to get closer to Kenma, "He must have done something that is worse than a tragedy."

Kenma's smile faded.

"I want to ask you something (Y/N)," Kenma says, "Something we have swept under the rug and never cleaned."

"What is it?" though already, (Y/N) had an idea on what it was.

"The night at the club," Kenma said; she has heard this fragment too many times now, "I want... to clear something up to you."

(Y/N) nodded as she looked up at Kenma, who looked down at her.

"I was drugged (Y/N), I hope you know that I never meant to kiss Mieko," Kenma said in a bit of a pained tone, "She drugged me and proceeded to act as if she was you. I fell for it, but I assume that when the realizations hit me, it was far too late."

"I am deeply sorry for lying to you as well afterwards," he continued, "Mieko did not kiss me better. I said that to protect you from the truth that she was trying to kill me."

(Y/N) was quiet.

"I hope you can forgive me for what I have done, I know I hurt you and that was the last thing I wanted to do..."

"If you want anything in this entire world... please tell me and I will give it to you without hesitation..."

"Just tell me... please."
