24. Mochi

Y/n's POV

At the end of the day, we won by only one match out of ten, and that was when the freak duo played with them. Therefore, they don't have to do rigorous penalty of flying falls. Though the penalty is painful, it's good for them to practice it, as it will improve their receives and strengthen our defense.

"You guys look like you're doing the worm earlier. You're supposed to look like a snake when you do flying falls. Try harder next time." I announced the boys.

"Understood, ma'am!"

"Good day, ladies. Now go get rest!"

"Good day!!"

I took my water bottle and took a big sip out of it, moaning in satisfaction.

"Umm, Tachibana-sensei—" Asahi's voice was heard from behind.

"Don't call me sensei after practice." I said quickly with a small smile on my face.

He quieted down and nodded to himself, "Alright... Tachibana-san, are you busy right now?"

I bent my spine backwards to see his face and shrugged, "Hmm? You're gonna take me somewhere?" I teased.

The third year blushed and started to stutter.

"I-I was wondering—"

RING!! RING!!

"Whoops, sorry, Asahi. It's urgent." I apologized and got out of the gym quickly.

"I- Alright... I'll wait here..."

I smiled at him from the doorway before answering the call, "Moshi moshi?"

"Where are you right now, Y/n?"

"Tokyo training camp, Kunebo-san."

"Alright. Don't forget about your photoshoot tomorrow. 10 am, sharp." he said strictly.

I groaned silently and rolled my eyes.

Ever since Kunebo-san pushed me to sign the contract, I didn't have any time for myself nor my friends. I have a line up of photoshoots for various different magazines, interviews and commercial modeling. It really is a pain.

"Understood. I'll be there." I said through the phone. "Good night."

"Don't forget to grab your outfit from the office-"

"I understand. Good. Night."

Beep beep...

Damn this man is annoying as fuck...

I let out a sigh before going inside again since Asahi was waiting for me there.

"I'm back," I announced as I walked over to the ace. He smiled gently and grabbed something from a store bag and gave the item to me. "Here, for you."

I tilted my head at the packaged item and took it from his hand.

"Is this-"

"Mochi. I saw the store down the road was selling those and-.... and I wanted to get them for you..." Asahi said with pink cheeks. "I hope you like strawberries, Tachibana-san."

Uh oh-
You're making me fall for you even more, Asahi.

I fixed my throat and tried to ignore the fact I was blushing as well.

"Thanks. I like strawberries though," I said simply and opened it up. "Itadakimasu." I said and put the sweet squishy dough in my mouth. Few moments later, I had stars in my eyes and cried dramatically.
