Third POV

It was 14-20, Shiratorizawa in lead with six points. Ukai was pissed, glaring at the old coach of the rival team, who was just sitting quietly with a sneaky smirk.

"Ukai-kun?" Takeda-sensei wondered about the blond's frustration, in fact, he was also frustrated to see their own team was losing their momentum. He noticed the (h/c)-ette was eyeing every. single. one of the players, analyzing and noting everything in her mind so he didn't want to interrupt her.

"Losing the first set is going to pressure us a lot, if we don't win this, the pace will surely go to Shiratorizawa." Ukai explained.

"It's fine." the female coach said. She turned to the older teachers and gave a mischievous smile, "Even if we lose or win the first set, the rest of them will be ours."

Her eyes wandered back to the court, watching Tsukishima accurately following all the spikes. Coach Ukai clicked his tongue once when he noticed that it was Ushijima's serve once again, he glanced at Nishinoya who was extremely determined to get it.

Nishinoya was having trouble receiving Ushijima's serves because the Shiratorizawa's ace was left handed and pretty different from the right handed serves.

The referee blew his whistle, signaling that it was Ushijima's time to serve, the left-handed spiker bounced the ball with his hand before tossing it. As expected, he took those alternative steps before hitting it towards the Karasuno's short libero.

"BRING IT ON!!" Nishinoya yelled.

The ball slowly came to his vision, he clasped his wrists together and focused on the ball, he lowered his knees a little hit and just then, he perfectly received the ball.

Tachibana stood up from her seat rapidly, her eyes showing much seriousness as she witnessed the perfect receive by The Great Guardian of Karasuno.

"GOOD JOB NOYA!!" she yelled while her eyes followed the ball in the air. Y/n watched Hinata did a run-up with Kageyama tossing the ball to him quickly. No one from Shiratorizawa was able to react, giving another point to Karasuno. The crows' bleachers erupted to cheers and it was time for Karasuno's serve.

Nishinoya got swapped out and gave a happy high-five to Y/n, smiling at her brightly. She gave him a small close-eyed smile and handed him his water bottle to cool off.

Liberos aren't allowed to be in the front lines after all, so they needed to be subbed out when the rotation goes to the front line.

Tsukishima was up serving now. He scanned the opposite court and served it where the setter was closest to, he heard his opponents curse this, a poorly give it to their setter, Shirabu. He tossed it to Goshiki, who spiked the ball straightly, avoiding the blocks from Kageyama and Hinata.

Once again, it was time for Shiratorizawa's serve.

Ohira Reon served the ball, much like Ushiwaka's, and Tanaka received it uneasily.

"SHIT SORRY!!" he apologized.

Kageyama chased after the ball and set it towards Asahi, who was blocked.

They sighed in defeat as they stared at the most formidable opponent that they could have ever asked.

Shiratorizawa just won the first set.

"Argh!! We lost the first set!!" Tanaka Saeko groaned, ruffling her hair in frustration. Saki and Yachi got frustrated over it as well as if they were the ones who were playing the game.

"They're in a pinch now." Tsukishima's brother, Akiteru said grimly.

Yachi and Saeko looked at him confused and asked, "What do you mean by that?"
