"Oh my god" Tiana mumbled as she held her head in pain.
"Good morning alcoholic" Carl laughed as he slipped on a random t shirt.
"What the fuck happened" She asked as she turned to look at him.
"You got fucking wasted last night and then passed out so I let you sleep in my bed"
"Did i say or do anything embarrassing" She asked hoping that she didn't embarrass herself in front of Carl.
"Uhhh nope" He lied not wanting to talk about what she said last night. Tiana slowly got up and walked to the bathroom. She pulled out two advil's and took them hoping to get ride of her vicious hangover.
"I gotta go home, my mom probably worried sick. Bye Carl!" She yelled grabbing her things and slipping out the door. ___________________________
"Where have you been?" Her mom asked as soon as Tiana walked through the door.
"I was at the Gallagher's, we were up late partying and i fell asleep." She replied.
"Next time let me know." Her mom said sternly.
"Ok sorry" Tiana said as she head for the shower, she reeked of alcohol. _________________________
It had been a couple days since Tiana talked to Carl. He was busy with his girlfriend and had no time for her. This made Tiana sad but she tried to brush it off like always. After school she decided to go get ice cream hoping it would cheer her up.
"Hi can i get a small vanill- Tyler?" Tiana said as she realized the person taking her order looked familiar.
"Hey Tiana, how are you?" He smiled.
"I'm good, I didn't know you worked here."
"Yeah cause I never told you" He laughed.
"Oh right" She said awkwardly giving him a slight smile.
"I get off in 15 minutes, want to hang?" He asked Tiana.
"Sure" she shrugged knowing she had nothing better to do. After Tyler clocked out they both got ice cream and went outside to sit.
"So how is it working here?" Tiana asked him as she took a bite of her ice cream.
"It's good, the shifts are nice and i get pretty decent tips." He answered. "We could use another cashier if you need a job."
"I mean I could really use the money and it's not like i have anything better to do since my friends kind of ditched me" She said.
"What happened?" Tyler asked.
"Well one of my friend dropped out and the other one got a girlfriend so he's to busy for me". He also happens to be my ex." she replied sadly.
"Well you have me." Tyler smiled as they made eye contact.
"Yeah, i do" She smiled back as they finished eating their ice cream and scrolled on their phones.
"Is this the friend you were talking about?" Tyler asked as he showed Tiana his phone.
