One Week Later

Nali Pov

        It's been a week since I killed Darren and a small part of his crew, "Nali where you at?" Kasim said interrupting my thoughts, we were in Walmart getting some groceries, "over here getting the waffles" I said picking up the big box of Eggo waffles, Christian loves them but like who doesn't lol

"Lemme help you with that baby" he said grabbing the box, "I had it"I said laughing, He was pushing the cart and we were walking past to go get some fruits,  "Khadym no you already got gushers" we turned around to such a familiar voice and saw Kim with a little boy

"Oh hey yall" she said walking up to us, Kasim just nodded his head, "Hi Kim" I said slightly smiling

"Khadym say hi" she said looking down at the little boy "this is my son he's 1" She said smiling, "oh okay, he's precious" I said, "yesss, looks just like his brother" she said smirking

"oh so you have two kids?" I said a bit shocked, "no silly, his half brother" she said smirking, I looked over at Kasim and he was just on his phone.. "oh ok, well we have to go" I said walking off, "nice seeing yall" she said laughing

We went to pick up the rest of the stuff we needed and paid 

We walked out to the car, "Kasim, is that your son?" I asked looking over, "No Nali" He said, "are you sure Kasim?" I said, "yes baby I'm sure, I'd never put you in a predicament like that again," he said pulling off, he's right I'm just tripping, I definitely needed that reassurance 

We made it home and we took in the groceries, Kasim mom was here watching Christain, "how was he?" Kasim said grabbing him

"He was good, but I still think you and his mother needs to work out yall differences, he needs his mother" she said crossing her legs

"Ma chill" he said bringing Christain into the kitchen to get a snack, "No I'm serious Kasim, we've spoken about this and I spoke to Queen and she wants to talk things out" she said

I let out a low sigh,  "Ma, what are you doing talking to Queen?" Kasim said getting frustrated, "She's the mother of my grandchild, Queen is like a daughter to me of course I'm going to speak to her" she said

"Ma, if queen really wanted to make decisions like that then she'll speak to me" he said

"well you have her blocked she said" His mother said, "yes ma because she just wants to fuck with me again only time I'd speak to her is if its about our son other than that I'm good, she started buggin" he said

"well she wouldn't be buggin if her spot in your life wasn't taken so easily" she said said, I turned around so damn fast

"Look Ma, I love you but you being disrespectful to Nali like this ain't happening, you taking shit too far now. You don't have to like her but you will respect her, do you hear me? She's an amazing person and she doesn't deserve this so until you learn to respect Nali you are gonna have to leave"He said walking to the door

"so you kicking me out huh, for her?" she said

"Im kicking you out cause you being rude as hell, no wonder you and queen get along so damn well, I'll talk to you later ma" He said kissing her forehead and opening the door for her

"She not the one for you Kasim, believe me when I say-" her words were cut off by Kasim closing the door

"Kasim, you should talk to the both of them" I said getting a bottle of water

"im gonna talk to my moms ofc but Queen? Nah" he said laughing

"cmon Kasim, just give Queen a chance to be in her son life, maybe she changed" I said
