Chapter 14

Ace (Kasim) Pov
I woke up to my phone ringing at 3am the fuck is going on ...

Rick: yo boss , they started to speak now .. get down here
Me: say dat

i hung up and started to get dressed , i just put on some sweats a hoodie and my 11s

I texted Nali phone to let her know that im had to step out for a bit just incase she needed me but I didn't get a response so she probably sleep or still mad

I pulled up at the trap and when i walked in nothing but weed and sweat smacked me in my face , bitches was walking around half naked some of the niggas here are pimps as well and shit niggas gotta make bank some how .

I walked down to the dark room and saw Rome and Tyrell beat the fuck up , face and body swollen and bloody ... my niggas did damage .

i pulled up a chair infront of them

"talk" i said blankly

"listen Ace zayne is probably gone by now" rome said

Tyrell tried sushing him but my niggas put duck tape on his mouth

"fuck you mean gone .. continue" i said

"look ..... it was the moms Tanisha .... Nali moms planned this whole shit ..... her and Tyrell .... she got zayne" he said in between breaths

"where" i said

"i don't know i swear i don't only her and Tyrell knows" he said

I believe this nigga he still got to go though , Rick shot him twice in the head and Tyrell jumped up with his eyes nearly popping out of his head

I ripped the duck tape off of Tyrell mouth

"where is he ?" i said

"fuck you" he said then spit on my shirt

i just laughed and told Rick to pass me the gun

I then shot him in the ear

"hear no evil ... ain't that right ?" i said laughing

he started crying his eyes out

"speak" i said getting ready to do it again

"FINE FINE ... that bitch ain't worth it ... Zayne is at 231 - 16 RearView Rd" he said throwing his head back

i got up and Rick was about to kill him

"not yet .. let me make sure his story is straight , i'll give you a call" I said walking out as Rick nodded

I pulled up at the spot and saw that one light was on

I walked up to the door and knocked

The door opened and it was Zayne , he looked so tired and so skinny like he hasn't ate , it was almost as if he was about to pass out

"Ka-kasim" he said weakly

"hey lil man , go into the car" he softly nodded and i went inside

The mother was not there .... FUCK

i called Rick

"boss" he said
"keep him alive the bitch ain't here , i got the kid but he has to know more call me when he's ready to talk again"

I then hung up

i got into the car

"zay where your mommy at ?" i asked

" i don't know she left 3 days ago and never came back" he said

I pulled up at the crib and I got out and made him a plate and heated it up

"where is nana ?" he said

"she is right up stares pop , when you done eating i'll take you to her" i said as i took the food out the microwave

He began to eat and he was eating so fast i was scared that he might choke , i gave him some juice for when he was done eating

He asked for another plate but i took him to go see Nali first .

Nali Pov
I woke up to knocks on my door , i groaned and got up slowly ...

"Kasim i don't wanna talk to you" i said while opening the door and my heart literally dropped

"zayneeeeeee omg omg baby" i picked him up and started crying so hard i fell to the floor

"i thought you were dead ... i thought you were dead" i repeated while i was crying

"nana im okay doctor made me feel better" he said

"doctor ?" i said

"yea mama took me to the doctor and told me to tell them my name is Xavier Cullings" he said while wiping my tears

I was way too speechless

"boo boo gone" he lifted up his curly hair and showed me his scar on the side of his head then lifted up his shirt to show me his scar on his stomach

oh my poor poor baby , i kissed his scars and laid him on the bed

" Kasim thank you" i walked up to him hugging him

he didn't say anything he just hugged me back

I washed Zayne up and Kasim gave him one of his shirts and i cleaned Zay underwear and dried them so he can wear them for the night

"Kasi can you stay with us" Zayne said

"oh zay-" Kasim cut me off and said that he would

Kasim left to go shower and change while zayne and i laid down and i put on his favorite shows

"where is grandma ?" zayne said
"she went to visit her sisters we'll facetime her in the morning" i said while passing my fingers through his hair
"Nali i missed you so much , i love you" he said hugging me tight
"i missed you too papa" i said kissing his forehead

I put on his favorite show and he was fast asleep

Kasim then walked in

"is he sleep ?" he asked

" yeah" i said

"i'll leave if you want me to" he said

" no i don't want you too" i scooted over to give him some space

he laid down and i laid on his chest

"im sorry Kasim , i shouldn't have overreacted like that ... i just need you in my life and that overwhelms me sometimes" i said

"Nali it's good , i need you in my life too , I love you so much .. i just want to be more but if you're mot ready it's okay i'll always wait for you" he said while rubbing my back

I looked up and kissed him ... and he kissed back ... it was just a 5 second peck but it felt like i was walking on clouds

I laid back down and we eventually fell asleep
