As he prepared his coffee this morning he couldn't help to think that the ship was sinking and the cat was out of the bag. With no tricks up his sleeves he was left with no choice but to quietly dismiss the allegations and rumors, but what if there was proof of his transgressions? Pictures? The whole nine yards? There would go his career, down the drain head first, but what could he do to stop it from turning out that way? He played a game and lost, he knew there were repercussions for his actions, something he constantly told himself...that students were off limits, but he had to quench his thirst and dirty desires. Exactly how much did Cynthia know and see? A scandal or termination was something Mr Davidson was trying to avoid, he always vowed to keep his true identity a secret, unfortunately for him it was coming out. He couldn't control his emotions and once again his wicked ways had taken over, it had gotten the best of him leaving him vulnerable for whatever was coming his way .The latest episode in the staircase left him shaken and nervous, he knew he needed to slow down with all the tutoring especially all the one on ones, before he found himself caught up. Davidson wasn't in denial, he knew if the opportunity presented itself once more he would definitely take advantage, pouncing on his prey. Secretly yearning for a relationship with Avery and relishing every opportunity to be in his presence.

Freddy fantasized about those mesmerizing bright blue eyes ,desperately lusting for  him wanting him all to himself. He smiles as he envisions a getaway where he would proclaim his love and true intentions for Avery . However his fantasy was an illusion, more like a harsh reality that would jeopardize his livelihood as well as his safety at the school not to mention his lame duck status on the streets. Same sex marriages and relationships were "so called" accepted, but were they truly accepted? Would they be welcomed with open arms? The age disparity was troublesome. but he craved the rush and the attention that comes along with it. Having full control was something Freddy always enjoyed, being the dominant one in the relationship was too good to pass up on. Even knowing that the risks outweigh the reward, he still couldn't or wouldn't contain himself. As he is getting out of his car at the high school, he sees four students in deep conversation. They either didn't hear him or cared that he had walked by them or so he thought, until he heard one of the students whisper "that's him" while another balls his fist up while staring at him with a disgusted facial expression. Why was he looking at me like that? He knows something. Why else would he be giving me a murderous stare, was this the beginning of his downfall? He quickly shrugged it off as he noticed one of his colleagues quickly approaching him.

"Good morning Freddy can I have a word with you?" "Sure, but can it wait till after school hours. I'm running a little late Jimmy. Or we can discuss it while I grab a coffee and a bagel." "Quite frankly Freddy it can't wait. There's a troubling rumor going around school that you're having an affair with one of the students." Stunned and scared he tries to digest what he just heard. He breaks the silence with a laugh. "Come on Jimmy we both know kids will make up the wildest and dumbest things at the expense of anyone. So I'm guessing I'm the man of the hour so who is she? What student am I romancing?" "Jeffrey Sanchez is going around saying you've been lavishing him with expensive gifts as well as money. Is there any merit to the things he is saying about you Freddy? You do know this would be an automatic termination, regardless if the union advocates on your behalf. That's also gonna leave a permanent stain on your record and quite frankly could possibly spell the end of your career Freddy. You didn't hear it from me, but there's a big meeting being called tonight with regards to what Mr. Sanchez has claimed about your relationship with him, teachers and parents are worried Freddy. Concerned about your so-called involvement in all this. I got your back Freddy, but I gotta know, is there any truth to any of this?" "Jimmy I assure you there's absolutely nothing to this but a fabricated story, none whatsoever my friend. These kids and their vivid imaginations are partly what's wrong with society, along with stereotypes and racism. That's what's corroded our youth. I take my career seriously, being an educator is all I've ever wanted to be. This is my livelihood Jimmy I would never jeopardize it for anything or anyone." His felt as if his nose was growing by the second, like a modern day Pinocchio. Longer with every lie that came out of his mouth. Thinking that perhaps Jimmy believed his explanation, Freddy decides to end the conversation as he gently places his hand on Jimmy's shoulder, "I'll catch up with you at lunch" as he strode off unsure of what just happened and of what was going to happen next .
