She quickly entered the site to see a video of her being jumped by Muneca and two other girls, the video was a minute long. She couldn't believe what she was watching and hearing. The thing that stood out the most was the fact that there were other females there and not one attempted to stop it, instead they cheered the assault on like it was a wrestling match. The comments from people who viewed the video were hurtful and despicable. America enjoyed violence and applauded bullies. She wiped her tears away before someone on the bus realized she was crying. She knew the video of her getting jumped was on Facebook and Instagram by now. She logged on to Facebook and scrolled through her timeline, she didn't have to scroll too much because there it was a whole minute and thirty eight seconds of her getting jumped by the three of them. As the bus slowed up to the next stop, there they were. Would they assault me on the bus? Maybe they wouldn't spot me in the back. She had like six more stops before getting off.
Muneca was the second one to enter the bus and instantly recognized her, she tapped her friend and motioned them towards the back. Heart pumping at a fast rate, she gathered her things and pressed for the bus to stop. They both approached the back door at the same time. Muneca wasted no time attacking her instantly, followed by her two friends, she was getting hit from every angle. Veronica who had gym class with Cynthia had a handful of hair while the third friend repeatedly punched her in the back. People were aggressively trying to get out of harm's way, but no one tried to intervene or at least ask them to stop, not one person. She was accustomed to this, people just watching while she was getting bullied. She started fighting back throwing numerous wild punches, but since she couldn't see them, with her head being pulled down by her hair, none had their desired effect.
The bus came to a sudden stop when the bus driver finally noticed or at least when he realized that it was beyond "kids playing around." The bus driver fought his way to the back. Muneca and one of the other girls tried dragging her out the back door, but she held on for dear life, the bus driver had managed to contain Veronica. This was the chance Cynthia needed. An older woman who sat in the front scolded some kid with his phone. "You should be ashamed of yourself, that could be your sister getting beat up." "Fuck you and that bitch" as he walked off the bus.
Cynthia's head was pounding her so much that she went straight to her room without saying a word to her mom or younger brother. She knew her mom would come up to her room to make sure everything was okay with her and ask her how her day was? She wasn't prepared for what she saw when she entered Cynthia's room. Her daughter had scratches all across her face, a black eye and her hair looking like some of it was ripped off. "Oh my God what happened Cynthia, who did this to you?" She grimaced in pain as her mom put her arm around her. "Mom I don't feel good, my head is killing me and my back feels like its been hit with a bat." They both fell to their knees and began crying hysterically in rhythm. Before her brother could ask what was going on, Joey call 911 now, go and bring me a rag. When she lifted her shirt, her heart dropped, Cynthia had black and blue bruises all over her back.
She was clueless about what her daughter was going through. "Cynthia I'm here and always will be for you and your brother whether it's good or bad. You shouldn't endure this type of cruel disgusting behavior from anybody. Why didn't you tell me what was going on? These girls need to be held accountable. What are their names? Do they go to school with you? Oh my goodness is the whole school bullying you? I'm going to your school tomorrow morning. Bullying shouldn't be tolerated in any school, has anyone ever offered to help you or defuse the situation? Those teachers should be ashamed of themselves. Cynthia do they even know? Have you spoken to anybody in your school? The principal? The guidance counselor? Please this matter is serious, I don't want to receive a phone call saying you were harmed, beaten badly or dead. I love you and we gonna get through this together. I promise you baby."
