Chapter 33

Verdammt = Damn it.

Takeshis Dorm

Akashi sat body sideways on the side of the comfortable bed which was homed inside of Takeshis dorm, the bed dipped slightly as it created a softer seat for the student. He was faced towards Takeshi, who was laying his stomach down on his bed, Akashi hunching over his bare back. The leaders' arms were crossed neatly and his chin rested lazily on his hands, the back of his hand and palms had a pounding ache and his eyes squinted once or twice every few minutes. Due to all of the stress, he'd stupidly forgotten to ask Landon to massage his back using the medical cream he was given out of kindness from a pure heart.

While the medicine eased the electrifying throbbing in his back. There were still occasional jolts spreading from his spine to his shoulder blades and lower back, Akashi tried his best to knead out the knots in Takeshis muscles, attempting to massage the strains. And Takeshi enjoyed it, his body relaxing at the touch of his lovers' hands. His eyes drooped tiredly, every moment or so and he began to doze off, enjoying the peace, welcoming it willingly. However, every time his back muscles twitched, his parted lips let out a hiss and his face winced.

"Sorry..." Akashi apologised thoughtfully, feeling a sense of guilt. The fact Takeshi was going through so much pain and aside from rubbing cream into his back gently - he couldn't do anything about it distressed him greatly. His eyebrows seemed to arch and raise as he saw Takeshi power on his iPad device and started searching away for whatever he needed. "We should remember to do this as often as possible,"

"It was my fault, Orchid," Takeshi shrugged it off as his own mistake. Tossing the pain aside like it was nothing, taking it like a champion. He peeked to his side subtly, his left hand reached out and rested on Akashis Thigh softly. The simple yet affectionate gesture comforted Akashi and so in the end both of their anxiety diminished.

"I'm somewhat responsible-"

"I'm going to have to stop you right there before you say anything else, Rose petal," Takeshi demanded - despite him not wanting his tone to come out so viciously it still did. It gave Akashi minor shivers. He didn't once blame Akashi for his lack of responsibility. He didn't really blame anyone. However, if he needed an excuse the stressful events would be an obvious understandable explanation.

Takeshi swiftly turned on his back, twisting around and squirming until he was in a comfortable position. The iPad was tossed away for the Time being. Grabbing Akashi's wrist in a quick swoop, Takeshi Intended to inform Akashi it wasn't his responsibility. It never was. It was Takeshis responsibility but within the ruckus and chaos he had entirely forgotten about the important medicine tucked away in his drawer.

"It never was nor will be your responsibility," He huffed, eyes narrowing and chest puffing out. He pulled the Redhead towards him clumsily, the Prince landing beside him on the bed. The cloud-like embrace of the mattress and Takeshis arms heated Akashi's skin, the grip melting into him.

"Well, that's where you're wrong..." Akashi trailed off. Amused, he chuckled. A healthy relationship required many things; Trust, Honesty, Loyalty, Communication, Understanding, Patience and more. Relationships tended to be complicated but To Akashi they were simple. The two people in the relationship were two halves, together they made a whole. That whole meant that both people shared their worries and responsibilities, they shared Sadness and joy.

Hesitantly, the leader went to speak, "I needed to ask you something sunshine,"

"Yeah?" he wondered.

"Are you alright?" The question was one Takeshi already knew the answer to. It didn't take a genius to realise Akashi was mourning his father's sacrifice. Everyone knew Akashi was hurting, beneath the bravery and the fake stability the prince had built himself- deep beneath the unsure forced smiles.
