"Taehyung"

"hmmm"

"Can I fall for you?"

The younger stared at Jungkook in shock. Did he hear that right? Maybe he misheard it?

"I can't?"

Jungkook asked again, as he didn't receive any kind of reaction from Taehyung. Taehyung, startled from the sudden question, got off Jungkook's lap and sat on the sofa.

"that..it is just so sudden"

Taehyung answered in a hesitant voice. he was not sure how to answer Jungkook's question. What will happen if Jungkook falls for him? What will happen if he falls for Jungkook? This was a very unexpected change in events. They did not marry out of love, just for business. But actually, Taehyung did not necessarily hate the idea of Jungkook developing feelings for him, or the other way around.

Jungkook on the other hand was waiting for Taehyung to give him a proper response - but even if he doesn't, it won't change anything. Jungkook has already developed romantic feelings for his husband. He just wants to know how the other really feels about him.

He held Taehyung's hands and looked him in the eyes.

"I won't force you to feel anything towards me. But I think I cannot force myself to not feel anything towards you"

Taehyung's face turned bright red as the other confessed to him.

why is he so romantic?? how is it possible to not fall for him?

"I.. I am just not sure"

Taehyung replied after a while.

"what are you not sure of, love?"

The older asked as he extended his hand and intertwined his fingers with Taehyung's. The silver haired boy relaxed at the familiar touch.

"I feel like, because our marriage was forced...the feelings too would be forced"

He answered with a low voice trying to avoid eye contact with his husband.

He had been thinking this for a while. Jungkook was very attractive and nice to him, but maybe he thinks so just because he sees him every day. Taehyung had never had much experience with dating in the first place, maybe he is feeling this way because he is too intimate with Jungkook.
But at the same time, he does not like considering them fuckbuddies.

"is this why you are hesitant?"

Jungkook's voice interrupts his thoughts, and the younger gives a small nod before looking at the older.

Instead of an upset or angry Jungkook, he sees his husband smiling at him and then he is suddenly pulled into a bone crashing hug.

"I understand. But I need to assure you that my feelings are genuine. I don't consider myself to be the type to force feelings just because of the circumstances."

A hand soothes Taehyung's back and he immediately relaxes into the hug, snuggling closer. Taehyung loves affection.

"If you allow me, I will show you that my feelings are genuine for you..."

Jungkook breaks the hug and looks at Taehyung.

"because I see myself spending the rest of my life with you, Taehyung"

He did not expect to hear this but it surely made the silver head's heart explode with all sort of feelings. And he couldn't suppress the smile that creeped on his face.

"Then do that please, I will look forward to it"

was his only response before throwing himself at Jungkook again, the older hugging him immediately.
