The meeting's end seemed as if it would never come. As the clock struck 10:15 a.m., Gina realized that she hadn't eaten all morning. With that thought crossing her mind, was the simultaneous motion of Meeting Adjourned. She left the room in a hurry, in an attempt not to remain for small talks.

When Gina first got her position as Second VP in charge, there were rumours around the office as to how she got the position. Knowing very well that those rumours could be refuted she didn't care much. She was fresh out of college after earning her M.A in General Psychology. Knowing her way around many things and not getting any job offers in her area was that which forced her in trying for this job. In less than four years, she was promoted to Second Vice President. Despite the rumours, Gina walked with her head high, as she was the only one who knows all that she had to sacrifice to get where she was. Gina was known as the task 'completer'. She knows how to get the job done and to get it done properly and not shabbily.

It was on one of her excursions in completing a task that she met him. He was a man in his late twenties and she in her early twenties. The first time she'd laid eyes on him, he never did leave her thoughts, not for a minute. She had entered her regular pub one night when her eyes rested on a character clad in full black. Seeing that the pub was already dark, he literally blended with the atmosphere. Instantly, she was captivated by him and stunned by his presence. For the first time ever, she had a dry throat and did not know how to talk to a man. And it was at that moment it dawned on her, this man has to be the character she always wanted. After mentally drooling, she sat at the bar. Ordering her regular Liqueur, Bertice, the bartender saw her staring, followed her stare, and said, "I don't think he will bite you."

"Bertice, who is he?""I am not sure, but this is his third night in the pub. Why don't you go talk to him?""It's fine. I will pass. Many women are probably gawking after him anyway.""Or maybe he is gawking at you."Through Bertice's simple comment, Gina's history with the character began.                                                                                          **** Entering her office after an extensively tedious board meeting Gina fell into her soft leather chair as it contorted to her body as it was glad to feel her. She began to gaze through her window when her eyes caught sight of the Ferrari she crashed into earlier. Instantly she remembered him saying 'he will pay for everything for her'. A weird thought flashed through her mind as she wondered if he was there all the time waiting for her. Gina suddenly brushed the thought away as she is known for her paranoia. Taking up her pencil, she began her daily entry. Entry Number Umpteen: Thoughts of you penetrates my mind. Images of you are projected on the walls of my mind. The image of your smile lingers without you trying. The feeling your smile and sparkling eyes arouse is none any can be compared with. Your effect is so great, because somehow in a twisted reality, I see myself with you. I try to desist with everything in me, thoughts of you and wanting you more, and I am failing miserably. Somehow, I think in a weird kinda way being with you or not keeps me warm. Completing her entry, her thoughts were brought back to her immediate situation. Work.
