AFTER FIVE YEARS

*Knock*

"Bukas iyan!" I shouted from inside my office.

Nang bumukas iyon ay iniluwal ang sekretarya ko. "Ma'am, meeting daw niyo with the boards, Engineer and Architect, Mr. Baltimore and Ms. Ramos."

Mr. Baltimore? Who?

"Susunod ako. Tell them to wait." And then I went to restroom to retouch my make-up. After that I went to the Conference room.

When I opened the door all of them stand up to greet me. "Good morning." I said and as I slightly smile and nod.

Nang mapunta ako sa tapat ng upuan ko ay umupo ako saka luminga sa mga tao doon. And then I stopped looking around when I saw him... After five years. Napangisi ako nang nakatingin siya sa akin ng walang emosyon.

"I... I forgot, let me introduce myself." I said as I'm smirking from ears to ears. Tumayo naman ang team ni Xavier At team ni Ms. Ramos. I extend my hand, "I am the CEO of this company." I said as I approach them.

Tinanggap naman kaagad ni miss Ramos ang kamay ko. "Architect Thea Ramos, ma'am."

"Nice to meet you." I said smiling.

Pero nang nasa tapat na ako ni Xavier ay ngumiti ako ng fake. "Engineer Xavier M. Baltimore, Nice to meet you... Again." I said as I go back to my seat. "I didn't know you'll be an engineer. I thought you'll be a teacher. Hmm?" Then I laughed. I want to shit him. Naasar na eh.
