Chapter 13

Lena's POV

I called the group and told them to come over now and it was urgent my mom was gone on some stupid trip to another kingdom I clung to Kara's necklace Jake was sleeping in my bed he had cried himself to sleep.I cried my door opened and Winn, James, Lucy, Maggie and some other girl I didn't recognize came in "Lena are you ok what happened" I couldn't even get the words out of my mouth "they took her" they all looked confused especially that red head with short hair
"Who got taken" James asked "Kara" the red head seemed to have a reaction to that name but let it go the rest looked worried "the guards took her away in the middle of the night s-she tried to fight but they gave her some kind of needle how could I let this happen" Lucy came over and hugged me "we're gonna get her back together" Maggie looked over at my bed "who's the kid" I looked over at Jake surprised he didn't wake up "he was close with Kara he's the one who told me she was taken" James stepped forward "how do we know he's telling the truth I mean he's just a little boy" how could he think that "because Kara would never leave without telling me plus her side of the bed was cold so she had to have left in the middle of the night and Jake loves Kara and would never lie about that he cried himself to sleep for god sakes" I lashed out at him "I'm sorry I just I can't loose her" James hugged me "I'm sorry I shouldn't have doubted you" Winn spoke up "her side of the bed" I looked at him like I was gonna kill him "no Winn I make my girlfriend sleep on the fucking floor yes her side of the bed" I snapped he backed away slowly hiding behind James "ok let's not kill each other Winn you deserved that" Winn looked over Maggie's shoulder and decided to ask the question "um Maggie who's that" the red head looked away from the group and back at Maggie "well knows probably not the best time but Um meet my girlfriend Alex" she waved shyly we were all taken back "so that was A" Winn piped up "and that's what Kara heard she knew it was a she" I said makes sense now actually never thought she was into anyone "well I wish this was better circumstances but Um congrats nice to meet you Alex" she nodded "yeah you too" I stood up "ok we need to find Kara where, why and who would take her" Lucy said "ok so the guards took her we need to figure out why and get rid of those traders and for the why maybe it's the same reason the prince tried to kill her" everyone looked shocked and confused "oh right yeah Um some dumb ass tried killing her not the point she said it's because her family did some bad things so maybe it's revenge go after their kid instead" everyone seemed to silently agree "now for where we need a way to track her" Maggie said "ok well Charlie can track her" Wow this was a good plan so far "ok but we need something of hers do you have that" I thought for a minute and looked down at my hand "she knew..." I felt a tear drop the rest of the group were confused "she knew something was wrong so she gave me this Kara you genius actually no Kara you idiot she could have just told me someone was after her whatever we will use her necklace" I walked over to Jake "hey buddy wake up" he opened his eyes and sat up "I need you to go back to Katara ok we are gonna get Kara back I promise you" he nodded and hugged me I put him down and he ran out of the room "ok let's go we're not telling anyone I don't trust the people in this castle who knows who else can be in on it" everyone nodded "you in Alex" I asked she nodded "I'm always up for a rescue mission" that's the attitude I guess. We got weapons all swords James grabbed a shield we all ran to the stables and grabbed a Pegasus I brought out Charlie and let him smell the necklace "find her boy" he made a noise and I got on him and put the necklace on Maggie and Alex shared one so did James and Winn Lucy had her own I led and the gang followed. After about an hour of flying Alex was asleep leaning on Maggie which only reminded me of Kara "um does he know where he's going we've been flying for a while" Winn asked "well clearly the kidnapper knew to bring her far we're not giving up until we have her and she's safe understand" "yup of course" so we kept flying I stopped keeping track until I saw an old castle. "I recognize this it's the abandoned castle people fear this place because they claim it's haunted it's the perfect place to hold a prisoner" "um Lena if it's haunted why are we going in it" Winn asked "to save Kara you moron" I snapped "and if she's not in there" "then we keep looking" we all landed and tied the Pegasus up "ok be extremely quiet we don't know what's in there we all entered the castle this was definitely creepy I can see why people say it's haunted we looked around in groups of 2 me and Lucy, Maggie and Alex, and Winn and James we met back in the main room "not to be creepy or anything but all that's left is the basement" I said in a whisper "really Lena a creepy basement in a so called haunted castle are you crazy" Winn whisper shouted "this is for Kara I'll do anything for her.
