Unlike before, Hazel woke up with Valentina dozed off within her grasp. Her hair was ruffled from last night's activities and her naked body was hidden under the covers alongside Hazel's.

Although Hazel didn't receive any physical pleasure, she didn't need it. All she craved was Valentina, and she got it.

She smiled down at her lover, kissing her forehead before she got out of bed, placing a pillow next to Valentina in the absence of her warm body.

With a loose top of Valentina's wardrobe and her underwear, she wore it in an effort to make herself less cold and more comfortable knowing she'll keep the items of clothing instead of giving them back.

Hazel was in Manhattan, with a girl who she barely knew a month ago, yet fell in love with her in less than three weeks of her company. It astounded her how fond she was of Valentina even though she didn't know the basics of her life before the contracts.

All she knew was that she had a troubled life, moments in life in which no child should experience.

Though the suite was large, Hazel found herself exploring the little home, laughing as she picked up their clothes on the way. In this process, she found a note on the floor crumpled up in a small ball, and as she read it, she felt another wave of remorse for Valentina.

Alexander Amon was a man she knew little of, all she knew about him was that he left Valentina at her most vulnerable times, and even if it looked like the most suitable decision, she felt nothing but anger towards the man because of what he caused.

She came back to the master bedroom where Valentina still stayed soundly asleep, she almost felt bad about what she would do.

In a quick motion, Hazel jumped on top of the bed, resulting in a loud thump that woke Valentina up.

"Sleeping beauty's awake." Hazel chuckled as Valentina threw a pillow in her direction.

Watching Hazel dodge the pillow easily, Valentina's head laid back down as she groaned. "It's too early in the morning for you to be acting like a dickhead."

"It's never too early, love." The blonde responded crawled on top of Valentina, her hands finding the brunette's and locking instantly. "Last night was fun-"

Valentina's face lit up as a deep rose colour as she remembered what happened the night before and all of her remarks.

"-Pillow princess." Hazel finished, her smile growing larger as she saw the blush from Valentina's face disappear.

"Now that hurts." Valentina answered sourly as she rolled her eyes. "You just wait, Ms Grayson."

Hazel didn't realise how close they had gotten, and before she could respond, she felt her lover's mouth claimed her neck instead of her lips. Welcomed, Hazel moved even closer as she felt Valentina's tongue skim over her jawline, then towards her pulse point, which made her moan.

Valentina smirked into her neck as she pulled away. "And you say your daddy."

A shared laugh echoed in the room before Hazel rolled off Valentina.

Like a child, Valentina whined in an effort to bring her lover back into the bed which she was still naked under. "Nuh-uh."

"Nope." Hazel tutted, her fingers slipping away from the brunette. "We have to get ready, we're going back today, remember? The jet's waiting, c'mon."

Valentina groaned at her reminder, yet she still missed the two women at the house dearly. "I hate how you're always right."

The blonde shook her head at Valentina's child-like behaviour. "I'll just be a minute." She finished as she disappeared through the bathroom door, leaving Valentina on the bed with an idea.
