Another week passed by with barely any contact or communication between the fiancées, all four women noticed it, and it became obvious at some times when Valentina would leave Hazel to deal with whatever she needed to be done.

It was to the point where Valentina asked to sleep in one of the other guest rooms, however, Mia always lecturing her or asking to give Hazel another chance.

Valentina always came back to Hazel at the end of the day, whether she liked it or not, because the only thing stopping her from leaving was the contract. She always kept her word, no matter the person or their background, she was always loyal, a trait that can be determined as a positive and negative outcome.

Sick of the feud, Teagan took up the opportunity of forcing the fiancées to go out to the private beach they owned, near the gazebo Hazel always went to in a time of need or peace.

"If you seriously pussy out right now, Lord so help me, I will literally drown you with my spit." Teagan somewhat exaggerated as she held her younger sister's shoulders, keeping her in place for a few seconds.

"You don't get it, she hates me for a reason I don't know of." Hazel explained, lying to herself but creating a problem that she can cover for herself. "I've tried apologising but she's not budging-"

"-You think people are objects that you can move at your own disposal, but they're not. They're fucking human beings with feelings. And right now, your fiancée is so close to dropping your ass if you don't fix this." Teagan disciplined, recognising how Hazel's eyes softened as she realised her mistakes.

"So what do you suppose I do?" Hazel huffed, shoving her sister's arms off of her shoulders and pushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Apologising is one thing, but doing something rememberable is another. Take her out again, and settle the little feud you have whether she likes it or not." Teagan suggested, dismissing herself after she rubbed the top of her sister's head playfully.

A harsh silence fell between the two as they drifted through the sea on the small yacht they owned, the only thing audible was the waves striking along the boat's bow. Hazel stood uncomfortably near the cockpit, watching how relaxed Valentina appeared to be as she placed her back on the boat's floor, reading a small book for entertainment.

An unfamiliar knot in her stomach formed, not one filled with lust, but nervousness?

Hazel looked away from the woman and sighed, then taking a few breaths before she gathered up the remaining confidence she had. Valentina made Hazel feel things that she knew nothing of, and it made her want more, but she was still holding herself back, anything to keep herself from getting hurt.

The blonde walked over to the brunette who now, on her back, appreciating the sunlight's effect on her already-tanned skin. "Hey."

Valentina opened her eyes to see Hazel sitting down next to her, she shifted uncomfortably, responding with a scoff instead of a sentence.

"Please, don't act like that." Hazel pleaded, her back slumping in disappointment.

"You haven't made an effort to talk to me in a week, I'm sure I can act like this." The younger girl mocked, thinking back to the awkward encounters she had with the blonde, neither of them having the courage to speak to one another.

"I don't even know why you're mad at me, I mean, I thought we already made up." Hazel replied, fiddling with her hands as she talked to the woman who wouldn't even spare her a single glimpse out of pity.

"Hazel you don't even say my name when you want to talk to me, you're a pain in my ass." Valentina argued.

"You're the one who can't act like a fucking adult about this, I've tried apologising to you, several times but you walk away before I can even spit a word out." Hazel spat.

Valentina dryly chuckled at the audacity the woman had. "You don't get it, do you?"

Another silence fell between them, therefore Valentina further explained. "... Before I came here, I told myself not to do something I'll regret, but whenever I'm with you, I always regret it after. And kissing you proved to me how right I was." Valentina paused, now turning her attention away from the sea and towards the woman who said adjacent to her. The eyes of the lifeless prick locked eyes with the shattered doll.

"The problem with you is that you push everyone away, even your goddamn family. So when we kissed, I... I knew you'd regret it, and you did. You fucking did. It was selfish of me to believe that you could think of someone other than yourself. Because I felt something for you, and I don't know how to stop."

Looking at Valentina in disbelief, Hazel saw how broken and how torn the woman was. How much she needed someone to somewhat love, someone to love her the way she deserved.

Hazel knew nothing of love, and it was okay, she didn't need to know anything, but what she needed was Valentina. So in a quick movement, Hazel took Valentina's neck and smashed their lips together.

Valentina stiffened at first, then hesitantly reciprocated her kiss, followed by her hands snaking around the woman's waist, spreading a warm feeling at her very touch. Feeling the limited area of covered skin, the brunette's hands sunk under the older girl's thin jacket she wore, aching more heat and friction. Her warm touch made Hazel internally jump, guiltily, she wanted all of her too.

Pushing Hazel down, Valentina straddled the older girl as their kiss became less gentle and more urgent, almost desperate. Hands securing to the younger girl's exposed thighs that trapped her between the brunette, Hazel licked Valentina's lips before being granted entrance.

Tongues dancing with the other, the duo explored each other's mouths in a soft way, exchanging the same amount of desire and want they both had within.

Helplessly, Hazel fell into a dazed state, hypnotised by the way Valentina writhed against the blonde, producing pleasure among the two.

Breathlessly, Hazel was the first to pull away, she watched as Valentina connected their forehead together. Locking eyes, Hazel displayed a small smile. "Don't think that I don't have feelings, Amon, because I do, only for you."
