Part 7

I woke up by my sister shaking me "Yes Rick?" I ask her "Simons coming home today!" She says happily. "That's great Rick, go get ready tell the boys to too" I smile pushing her out of my room.

The clothes that were given to us weren't bad at all they were actually very cute and comfy. I picked my outfit for the day before braiding my hair, slipping my shoes on and walking out of my room.

"What's that smell? It smells amazing!" I gush "the boys made breakfast" Ricky yelled out to me "your lying cause it actually smells good" I laugh as she laughs too and the boys give me faces.

"Breakfasts served" Ezra says handing me my plate "thank you, Someone's happier" I laugh "Don't change it" he sneers at me jokingly as I laugh "you look beautiful Princess" Kai says "Thank you Sunshine" I smile at him eating my breakfast. "How are you guys liking your outfits?" I ask them "it's great! Just a black tee and jeans" Ezra smiles "yeah I know just tanks and Shorts" Kai laughs "what about you Rick?" I ask her "I'm so in love with these dresses" she smiles happily.

Before we left the doorbell rang and Ezra answered it was a letter "all of you are to meet in my office at 3pm. It's important." Ezra said I immediately knew who sent it and sighed "Whatever, let's just go get Simon" I say and they nod.

We walk through roads waving at people and smiling until we made it to the hospital "Here for Simon?" Doctor Reyes asks and we nod.

She leads us to Simon as he sits on the edge of the bed dressed and ready to go "Sorry guys he's ready to go we have an emergency" she says to us running out of the room. As we are prepared to leave a boy about 8 gets brought in and laid on a bed. He wasn't breathing properly "His Asthma randomly got worse help him please!" A woman spoke holding the boys hand.

I watched as Doctor Reyes gave him puffers and nothing seemed to help that's when I realised "Stop!" I yelled and everyone stared at me "lay him on his side and pat his back hardly but don't hurt him now kid when they do this cough out as hard as you can, ready, Go!" I say.

My idea worked and a toy had come out of the boys mouth "how did you know?" Doctor Reyes asked in astonishment "the way he breathed when he did. You can tell if he's having trouble breathing because of Asthma or because of something in his throat" I say. The woman hugs and thanks me and so does the boy "you should become a doctor" Dr Reyes speaks "I stopped one boy from choking that's as far as I'll get in medical" I chuckle.

We walked home telling Simon about everything he hadn't seen yet. "Do I share a room?" He asks us "no man we each get our own rooms" Ezra says happily and I nod "Amazing is it nice?" He asks us more "It's spectacular Si" I smile at him.

As we get home Simon looks around the house seeing everything for the first time "quick guys we need to meet Miriam" I yell at them "Rave, she's Mum" Rick sadly says.

We walk to her tower and knock on the door "Greetings please take a seat" she speaks "This isn't some Vacation guys I'm sorry to say, in order to run this place we need to each work a job" she says "Can we choose?" I ask "Yes only if you will be good at it" she says. "Now Ricky you won't need to work but you'll have school it's very nice honey trust me" she says and Ricky nods.

We sat thinking what our jobs would be. "Let me be a guard, a soldier" I speak up "Princess I'm not letting you" Kai says "you don't get a say I can protect myself" I speak "You've always been a protected Raven, you'll do training and meet the others later on" she speaks "I'll help with farming, and the school" Simon says and she nods "I want to be a soldier" "Me too" the boys speak "alright don't let me down" she says as we get up to leave "Raven can we talk please" she asks and I nod as everyone leaves.

"What?" I ask her "Honey I love you and if I could have brought you with me I would have but you, he would have been killed" she sighs "He? You mean you didn't want your husband dead? He almost killed us Mum!" I yell at her crying "Honey I know, I wanted to divorce him, I wanted to do everything I could to protect you but if I didn't leave they would have killed you and your siblings!" She yelled at me sadly "S-siblings?" I ask her "Honey you have an older brother, he's 20, and a soldier here in Terrazero. I wanted to tell you but then they wanted us both not knowing he was our son and Ricky was our third kid she would have died" she started crying after speaking.

I hugged her "I'm so sorry it wasn't your fault Mum" I tell her. We hug for a bit longer when the ground begins to shake rapidly "Mum? Mhm! What's happening?" I ask her trying to stand up "Get outside and find the others stand away from buildings!" She yells at me over the sound.

I run out to see Ricky crying and the boys trying to help her "Come on follow me!" I yell as Ezra picks Her up and runs. We run to a clear area where everyone else is seated. And my mother runs to me "it isn't what I though, can you use guns?" She asks us "Yeah?" I say "okay follow me!" She says before speaking to a pregnant lady "Lana can you look after Ricky please?" she asks and the lady nods as we run following my mother to a shed where people were dressed in armour and getting guns.
