"Get dressed as fast as you can and grab those knives and guns" she speaks going to get armour "this is going by so fast how do I do this?" I ask panicking as my vision goes cloudy "Hey, hey, hey. You've got this Princess" Kai says looking around for anyone before kissing me and calming me down "thank you" I smile "Anytime Princess".

I got armour and weapons before running out with everyone else. "New guys are with River you take west! The rest in your groups!" My mother yells. A guy named river drives over to us in an army rover as we pile in with him and he drives "First time fighting dinosaurs?" He asks "Wait that's what we're doing?" I ask and he nods "what are your names?" He asks "Raven, this is Malakai or Kai and this is Ezra" I say pointing to the boys "I'm River Skye, listen to me I don't want you guys dead" he says and that's when the realisation hit me but I stayed quiet.

"Now this Dino is one of the absolute biggest and heaviest but it's soft spot is it's neck unlike most it isn't protected aim for it" he speaks "What if we die?" Ezra asks "I won't let that happen, my mum says she likes you guys" he says "who's your mu-" Ezra was cut off by the roars of a dinosaur that seemed quite close.

"Let's go guys, eyes out and aim for the neck don't forget other dinosaurs can show up at any minute" he says holding his gun up and walking steadily "Raven grab the walkie talkie" he says to me and I nod.

We hold our guns up prepared for anything "You seem a bit scared there Malakai" Ezra smirks "I am Ezra just not for myself" he says making eye contact with me. Out of nowhere a branch snapped behind us and we froze, "River I-is that th-the Dinosour?" I asked him whispering "Guys don't move, when I throw this flare behind it I want you guys to run left, I'll follow you" he whispers and we nod.

He threw the flare and the Dino immediately became distracted as we ran as fast as we could, we heard the thumping behind us as the ground shook but we pushed ourselves faster when we fell, it didn't really hurt it was soft, a little too soft. We were in mud but not just any mud we were sinking.

"The dinosour left he's heading North to the others contact Miriam Raven" River said "Hello? Mum? Anybody?" I asked when someone replied "Raven is that you?" My mother asked "yes, yes it's me he's heading your way we're stuck in mud and we're sinking but we'll be alright take him down" I say "Alright honey be safe" she says.

"We aren't completely fucked I can pull myself up on that vine and then get the rest of you" Kai said "Alright Kai be careful and get the boys first" I say "No I'm getting you first Princess" "No I'm lightest I'll sink last" I beg "Fine don't move" he says and I nod.

i watch as Malakai pulled his body from the mud and set foot on hard ground "Thats a lot harder than it looks" he laughs before finding a big piece of bark and putting it beside Ezra "Hop on mate, itll stop you from sinking" Kai says.

Ezra hesitantly listened and he too was now on hard ground "Hurry up Sunshine im sinking faster its at my hips now and River is almost at his shoulders" i say scared. Malakai and Ezra both help in pulling River out and it was now my turn and by now it was already at my neck "K-Kai hurry" i say trying not to move.

i watch as his face changes looking at me and he tries everything to pull me out "Help me!" Kai yells at the boys, they listen and try pulling me too i was much closer to the edge now and Kai pulled me up and out of the mud. "Thank fuck your okay princess" He says worried hugging me "Its okay im okay" i say hugging him back.

A voice broke us apart to look through the trees "There you guys are iv been looking for you i thought the worst" My mother says, "you guys look like shit, literally" she laughs at us "Very funny Mum" River and i say at the exact same time. we look at eachother with a questioning expression "Your my 20 year old brother" i whisper "Your THE Raven, my sister" he says too.

we had gotten in the Rover once again this time with my mother. "Why didnt you tell me she was here?" River asked our mother "I wanted too i was actually planning on tonight but you found out a little earlier" she spoke. "So you guys are a thing?" River asked me and Kai "Oh-" Malakai tried to speak but was cut off by Ezra "No they arent a thing" he says bluntly "You you alright Ezra?" I ask him. "I'm fine Raven" he says

As we make it back to Terrazero we watch as the gate is torn down, people scream and others are getting grabbed "Ricky" i whisper scared for my little sister. "Whats going on!?" Ezra frantically asked "The shadow people, Stay back they will torment you dont listen to them" My mother says as she drives us closer to the gate.

we walk standing in front of everyone as they stare at us "Wheres your commander?" my mother bravely asks "Right here" a woman speaks walking forward holding her staff "Why have you come to our side, we had an agreement!" My mother shouts "I know we did Miriam but your people, soldiers were on our side, hunting, they had guns threatening to shoot my people!" the woman shouts back.

"They werent hunting you!" i shout at her "Oh? whos this Miriam?" The woman asked her "Im Raven, Raven skye and you had no right attacking innocent people, you didnt understand the reason our soldiers were on your land" i say to her "Come her child, i wont harm you i give you my word" she speaks.

i start walking to her and stand in front of her "Your a much better leader than your mother ever was child, now if you give me medical equipment, food and water we will leave you alone and this never happened if not you die" she smirks.

Doctors and farmers gathered what she asked for and she was on her way, her army walking away from our home. 100 meters from the gate she turned to us "Theyre coming, all of them, he is too Miriam and nothing will stop them after all they wouldnt know this place was survivable if it wasnt for you child!" she yells out as we all turn and look at eachother, what have we done?
