Part 10

We patched up the fence using whatever materials we could find and by the time we were done my hands had blisters and i was famished completely. i sat by a tree as it generously covered me with its branches "Who knew fixing a fence would be so hard" i chuckled "Oh really? we built this Entire fence and little Raven is complaining about a little patch" River laughed at me, i laughed with him playfully punching his shoulder "We should head back" i say and he nods as we make our way back to the open areas.

As we came into the markets people everywhere were walking towards the gate so we followed "Whats going on?" i asked my brother "I think your mothers making her speech" he says and i nod getting closer to where she sees me.

"Good afternoon citizens of Terrazero, Unfortunately some of our children, including my own youngest daughter have made a hole in the fence and have been going through for a while now. They will not tell us anything but that they were bored and we dont know weather to believe them. im not shaming children as this is a new world to them as well but please know the dangers of leaving our home without protection we cannot lose you" she says and everyone erupts in cheers.

"Also we had thought by the letter sent by the future that no one else would be sent through as they initially thought we were dead and only sent the letter because of the rules. But at this very moment 5 children were sent through only to die in which they didnt. My Daughters Raven and Ricky Skye. Simon Wellman, Ezra Flynn and Malakai Fallon. Please make our new members feel happy to be here" she smiles and everyone claps saying hi to us.

We were all having dinner with my mother after her speech but i wasnt feeling to well i had thrown up twice already so i layed in my bed in silence.

(Flashback)

"Theyre coming, all of them, he is too Miriam and nothing will stop them after all they wouldnt know this place was survivable if it wasnt for you child!" Victoria Yelled to my mother.

Her words played throughout my mind as i tried to decipher what she had meant. "What could myself or Ricky could have done to make them know we're alive?" i ask myself thats when i realise. They chipped us, when they held our wrist putting something inside of us, how could i have forgotten that, i knew there was a chance i could be wrong but i ran as fast as i could to my mothers tower opening the door as i saw everyone laughing and eating.

"What is it Raven" River asked "I know how they know we're alive, im so stupid to not realise this before, i need you 4 right now" i say running out not listening to what they have to say. i Ran to the hospital to see Dr Reyes "Lia! we need your help as soon as possible" i say to her "What is it?" she asks "I need you to take out 5 chips in us" i say desperately gesturing towards the others coming in.

"Chips!?" Kai asked me "They chipped us before i ran into the portal its how they know we're alive we need to get then out and destroy them" i tell him "Your so smart Rave" Ezra say hugging me. "This way please" Lia says as we follow her. "Is it going to hurt?" Ricky asked me "Maybe a little Rick but its going to be okay" i tell her and she slightly nods scared.

i sit on a bed everyone including my mother and brother are beside me as Dr Reyes injects me with a needle numbing my arm as i watch her cut it open carefully and grab a tiny chip. "Its Out time to stitch you up, you ready?" she asks me "Yeah go for it" i tell her. She stitches my wrist up carefully as it was noe the others turns.

Everyone now had stitches and 5 Chips lay on the table covered in our blood "Ill go out and destroy them" River says picking the chips up in a plastic bag taking them outside. "I dont know how your my daughter Raven Skye but you are one smart Woman" my mother smiles "Thanks mum" i smile hugging her softly.

"I thought it would hurt more" Kai says "Look whos being a big boy sunshine" i laugh at him as he playfully slaps my arm softly. "Hey Simon hows farming and helping the school?" i ask him "I actually love it, and we get free vegetables and fruits every now and then" he says happily "Thats good to hear" i smile. we had only walked a few more steps when my stomach felt explosive and i ran to a bush and everything that was inside of me was now on the floor as my throat burned.

"You need to get that checked Princess" Malakai Says "Im sure its nothing lets just go home to bed, do you still have those mints?" i ask Him he nods passing me two as i stick them both into my mouth relieving me of the horrid taste i was experiencing. We walked home together laughing at stupid jokes and just messing around.

i didnt know people i had only just met could have such a big impact on my life, its crazy, they mean everything to me there my family.

we arrived home and seperated taking showers and getting ready for bed. i walked into my room sitting on the edge of my bed sighing placing my head into the palms of my hands. "Whats wrong princess?" Malakai says walking into my room. i lift my head to his "Just tired and feel horrible" i half smile at him. he sits beside me taking me into his arms as he kissed my forehead. "if you are not better soon i will personally take you to Dr Reyes, now get some sleep My Princess" Kai softly speaks laying us down as he strokes my head "Goodnight Sunshine" i yawn to him as i drift into a dreamless sleep.
