Chapter Eleven

"What happened in there?" The principal asked me, obviously annoyed.
I tucked my hair behind my ear, "Lori is bullying me," I told her.
"I understand you were mad, but why did you hit her?"
Angrily, I clenched my fist, digging my nails into the palm of my hand, "She started talking about my dad, she knows he's dead. Slutty bitch."
I instantly regretted what I'd said.
"Levanah Green! I was considering letting you off, as you are an A+ student and this is your first meeting with me, but bad language in front of the principal will not be tolerated!" Principal Hernandez said like it was a terrible crime.
"I'm sorry but it's true!" And I did it again, quickly covering my mouth.
"Suspended! I'm calling your mother, come back on Thursday and I hope that this will never happen again!"
She shooed me off into the waiting room outside as she called my mom. I could hear their conversation from where I was sitting.
"Your mom will be here to pick you up in 5 minutes," The principal told me as she walked out of her office.
I nodded, "Okay. I'm really sorry I just-"
"It's alright," she smiled weakly, "I'll speak to Lori and get both sides of the story. I think you just need some time to calm down, think about things,"
She was right, I guess. I could use this day off to just think about everything.
By the time I had planned out my day of suspension, mom had arrived.
She hurriedly walked into the waiting room, "Principal Hernandez, I am so sorry about my daughter she-"
"Ms. Green, it's fine! Levanah just needs some time off whilst I figure things out. She can come back to school Thursday, alright?"
"Alright, see you soon," mom smiled, then dragged me out of school, "Levanah Green, you have a lot of explaining to do."

-Cameron's POV-
"So, when do I say my line?" I asked the director.
He pointed to the terrace set exit, "Just after Tony walks off the terrace,"
"Alright," I nodded.
"And, action!"
'Tony' walked over to 'Jessie', "I'm sorry Jessie I'm just not comfortable kissing you after we-"
My phone started to ring in my pocket. Dammit, I forgot to put it on vibrate.
"Cameron!" Everyone whisper-shouted as I took it out to answer it, the caller ID said it was Lee.
"Cut!" The director yelled.
"Lee? Why aren't you at school? Suspended?!" Everyone started glaring at me, "Look, I'm gonna have to call you back later on because I'm kinda in the middle of filming and everyone's staring at me. Alright, thank you. Bye,"
"Okay, everyone! It's 6pm so that's it for today! I'll see you tomorrow at 9am sharp," the director called. I was the first out of the set, so I rushed into my dad's car to call Lee.

-Lee's POV-
"Where are you now?" I asked cameron on the phone. It was 6pm and mom had grounded me.
"I'm on my way back home. Then I have to lock myself in my room and catch up on school. How did you get suspended?"
I laughed, "As usual, Lori was being an ass, but I couldn't take it anymore so I punched her in the face. Then the principal suspended me,"
"You say it like you're so proud," he chuckled.
"Well," I stated, "I sort of am,"
It was a bad phone line, so the sound on the other end was a little lagged, "Hey, see you tomorrow night? I gotta go now and do homework," Cameron told me.
"Alright. I'm grounded which means, if my mom is in a good mood, I should be able to come over to your's about 7,"
"Okay," I heard his car door close, "I can't wait to see you again,"
I walked over to my bedroom window and saw him turn to look at me, "Same here. Goodnight, Romeo,"
He put a hand up to wave and laughed, "Sweet dreams, Juliet,"
