-Cameron's POV-
Lee and her mom have been living in Sherman Oaks for just over a week now, and each day that passes Lee and I become better friends. It's starting to shape into how it used to be when we were kids; before she lost her memory. I just hope that one day all those memories will come back to her, just like Mrs Ackerman said.

"Is your mom working today?" I asked Lee at our lockers.
"Yeah. Let's go to the park with Eli and Dani," she said. They all seemed to get along, which was great, but I had other ideas.
I closed my locker and we headed towards our math classroom, "Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my place after school? We can play video games, you can meet my family, and my mom makes a mean lasagna!"
Lee looked over at me and grinned, "Alright, sounds fun. I'm in,"
"Awesome!"
I was hoping that if she came back to my house and saw everything how it used to be, it would trigger some little memories from before the accident. It was worth a shot, so why not try it out?

After school, I met Lee in the parking lot and we walked back to my place.
"So...do you have any brothers or sisters?" She asked me.
"I have a sister, she's twelve, and her name's Maya," I replied. I know Lee always wanted a sister when she was younger, that's why her and Maya got on so well back then.
When we reached my house, I unlocked the door and took Lee's backpack to hang on the rack.
I yelled to my mom, "Mom! I'm home! And I've brought someone to see you,"
Gesturing for her to follow, I showed Lee into the kitchen where my mom and sister were cooking something.
"Ooh, you brought a girl home," Maya wiggled her eyebrows at us and I felt Lee's tension.
"No, Maya," I rolled my eyes, "We're just friends. Anyways, Lee, this is my mom Libby. Mom, this is Levanah Green, call her Lee for short,"
Mom instantly recognized the name, and she looked over to me and nodded slightly, "Lee! It's so great to meet you! Cam's always talking about you!"
She smiled and shook my mom's hand, "Ha, is he now?"
"Levanah Green?!" Maya whispered in surprise to me whilst Lee and my mom chatted.
"She got long-term amnesia after the accident. I'm trying to get some of the memories back by taking her to places we used to go. So far, I'm not sure it's working,"
Maya nodded, as if to say she was going to help me out.
"Okay, kids. I'm making my lasagna tonight. It should be ready around 5," mom continued cooking and we all left to hang out.

-Lee's P.O.V-
Before dinner, Cameron, Maya and I all went upstairs to hang out. Cameron's room was big, bigger than the bedrooms at my place. He had a double bed, a foosball table, a basketball hoop and a trophy case full of awards.
"So I gather you're the sporty type?" I laughed.
He laughed too, "I play basketball, football, and I dance a little,"
"What about this acting award?"
Maya replies this time, "He didn't tell you? Cam's been acting since he was a little kid. He does movies, school plays, and he played Luke from the kid's show Jessie,"
I looked over at him and he blushed, "I can't believe you didn't tell me,"
"You're always quick to judge," he smirked. I poked my tongue out at him and then we all went off and played basketball.

Later at dinner, I got to know his family a little more and Libby even told me some of his dirty secrets, which were actually hilarious. She told me that he once cried when he got a B on his math test!
As I laughed at the story, a sudden wave of past experiences came flooding back to me. I dropped my knife and fork and they clattered on my plate.

-Lee's Flashback-
There were 10 of us and we were all staying at Cameron and Maya's for a sleepover.
"So, Levanah, truth or dare?" Jazmyn asked me.
I always hated her dares, so I went for a truth.
"Um...is the rumor true?!" She questioned, now all eyes were on me.
"What rumor?" I fiddled with the hem of my skirt.
She sniggered, "The rumor about you liking Cameron, Silly!"
At school this stupid rumor about me and Cameron dating was spread around by a 7th grader. Just because they're a year older than us they think they can boss us around. Ugh.
"It's not true but-"
Shawn, the douche, interrupted me, "Cameron, I dare you to kiss her,"
"What!?" Cameron and I choked in unison.
"Kiss her! Kiss her!" Everyone around the circle chanted. We both hesitated for a while, not wanting anything to be awkward afterwards. The chanting continued, they weren't giving up without a fight.
Cameron sighed and placed his hand on my shoulder, inches away from me, "I'm sorry,"

I instantly stood up after this flashback, or dream, I have no idea.
"Lee, what's wrong?" Maya asked me.
Cameron looked worriedly at me, "Are you okay?"
I nodded, "Don't worry, I'm fine. I - um - I just remembered that my mom asked me to be home for 6:00. Thank you so much for dinner, I'll see you tomorrow, Cameron,"
I quickly pushed in my chair, pulled on my shoes, grabbed my backpack and rushed out of the door.
I had no idea what had just happened in my head, but whatever it was has showed me that either I'm going crazy, or Cameron was right.
Maybe he did know me all along.

A/N i know Maya is 13 now, but when i first started writing this book, Cameron was 14 so that makes Maya 12 :)
