-they finished making the deal-

"alright, now that that is out of the way.. let's go clean-" the man dragged her away without giving her any time to react

"wha- why are you dragging me? you know i can walk perfectly fine. if anything this is doing less than if i were to walk."

"no particular reason, it just wouldn't end well if you were to get lost in here." almost as soon as he said that, they walked into a huge factory like room. there  were ruins guards on conveyor belts, there were also some on the ground. some were also dismantled.

"what do you even do with all these ruin guards-?"

"i just 'fix' them."

"..what do you mean by that?"

"before i was a harbinger, i used to study mechanics and engineering at an academia in fontaine. so i know how to reprogram the ruin guards to kill people and patrol areas for me. they are a lot more useful than those good for nothing diplomats."

"oh right. so basically what you're saying is that you are the mad scientist of the harbingers."

"precisely."

they went around the plains of liyue picking up the mess dottore made with his weird gadgets. about 2 hours in they both realized they were hungry.

"hey dottore?"

"yes [codename]?" he looked up from the ruin hunter he was dismantling.

"are you by chance hungry at all? i hate to ask considering you are working, but to be fair you did try to kill me. so i still have a little bit of malice left to waste."

he continued working on the machine. "i could eat. just me finish this, then we can go." in reality, he was starving. he hadn't eaten all day, so he was somewhat relieved that the girl had asked.

(sorry for not posting in a while, it was my friends birthday, but vel is gonna get mad at me for posting without her checking it. she's probably sleeping tho so whatever.)
