Y/N The Goddess Of Power

Chapter Two

I slowly open my eyes and was greeted with some of the villagers children watching me. "Well good morning" I said with a smile. They all gasped and ran out the hut, I laughed. I jumped out of bed and quickly got changed. I then wandered out of the hut to see Shuri stood with the children. "Did you wake up the Goddess?" She said with a laugh. "No" they replied. I approached Shuri and laughed, "They would never." I said. The children once again ran off.

"Good morning Y/N, Goddess of Power" Shuri greeted me. "Please, Y/N is just fine" I said with a smile. She nodded. "How was your first night here?" She asked. "It was good, thankyou." I replied. Shuri looked over my shoulder as she noticed someone. "Good morning Bucky" She said, I turned and Bucky nodded at her. She turned to me, "I'll leave you guys to talk" She said with a smile and left. Bucky walked up to me as I turned to him. "Hey" He said. "Hey Bucket" I replied. He laughed, "It's Bucky" he corrected me. I laughed, "I know" I replied. He shook his head and laughed. I quickly noticed he suddenly had a second arm. "Did your second arm grow overnight or something?" I asked. "It's a metal arm. Shuri and her team finished making it and put it on last night." He replied. "Oh okay, did they also give you those clothes so you didn't have to look like Jesus anymore?" I asked. He was now wearing common Midgardian clothing that I've worn when I've been here with Thor since everyone else did. He was wearing black jeans, a dark grey shirt and a black jacket. "What?" He asked. "What?" I jokingly replied. "How do you know so much about Jesus if you're not from here?" He asked. "I've been here a few times with my friend Thor." I replied. "Oh okay" He responded. "The clothes don't look bad by the way" I reassured him. "Thanks" He replied with a slight smile. "So... you're a Goddess? You seemed to have missed out that bit yesterday" He stated. "Yeah well, I thought I was going to be told to leave, so I wasn't planning on telling you my life story" I replied. He laughed slightly, "Fair enough". "So how long have you lived here for?" I curiously asked. "Only for a few months" He replied. "How come you moved here?" I asked. "My friends thought it was the best place for me to fix my head, so far its going good" He replied. "That's good" I replied. "Want to go for a walk? I can show you around some of my favourite places" He asked. I smiled, "Sure, that would be great" I replied. He nodded and we spent the day walking around Wakanda.

-During the night-

"Do you swear to preserve the peace?" Odin asked Thor as he knelt on the steps before him. "I swear" Thor replied. I glanced at Loki who was looking down. "Come on Loki, cheer up. You should be happy for Thor" I whispered. He glanced at me and smiled slightly.

I walked down the halls of the palace and sensed Loki nearby, hiding behind one of the pillars. "Loki, your sneaking skills are awful. I thought you were supposed to be good at this" I joked. He appeared out from behind the pillar with a devilish smile. "I am good at sneaking, I don't have any idea what your talking about" He joked and I laughed. "How can you be so beautiful?" He asked and I smiled. "Always so charming Loki" I replied and he smiled.

One of the servants approached Loki with a chalice on a tray. Loki's eyes filled with mischief. He waved his had at the chalice. Fear appeared in the servants eyes as snakes appeared from the cup. The servant dropped the tray with fear, and the snakes slivered about the floor. Loki laughed with pride. I laughed, "Loki come on". He turned to me smiling. "Okay okay" He replied and waved his hand again, the snakes disappearing.

"Hey handsome" I said as I walked up behind him as he was sitting on the palace steps. He turned with a big smile "Hello beautiful"

"Come on Y/N, keep up" Loki said with a cheeky smile as he rode past me with his horse.

"Care to dance?" Loki asked, extending his hand out towards me. "Hmm okay" I replied and gently held his hand and he led me out onto the dance floor. He placed his hand on my back and I placed my other hand on his shoulder. We then waltzed around the dance floor, with Asgardians watching us. Me and Loki just stared at each other and smiled, ignoring everyone around us.

Loki gave me a gentle smile before leaning in and kissing me.

I sat up in my bed breathing heavily, wishing to go back to those memories in Asgard. Things were starting to prove I was never going back, I would never see them and it broke my heart. "Are you okay?" Bucky asked as he was sat on his bed. "Yeah" I replied, catching my breathe. "I didn't wake you did I?" I asked. He shook his head. "I've been awake for about 5 minutes.. nightmares" He replied. "Oh sorry about that, feel free to wake me up if don't feel like being alone" I said and gave him a small smile. "Thankyou Y/N, I'll keep that in mind." He said while returning a small smile. I laid back down and stared at the ceiling, too afraid to sleep again, scared I'll see those memories again. But also wanting to sleep because of it, my mind was torn. I was really missing home. I eventually drifted back to sleep.
