𝐓𝐖𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐱; 𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤
"Are we really doing this?" Alana asked the two girls as they stared at the house in front of them.
Max and Eleven looked at her, "I'm taking that as a yes"
Eleven flicked her head slightly and the locked door opened allowing them inside, Alana sighed and shook her head.
"I'm telling you this is against the law!" Alana exclaimed to Max who shushed her -- she sighed knowing this wouldn't go her way.
"This is her house," Max said as the girls looked at the photos hung on the wall, Heather was with her mother and father.
"Oh fuck no" Alana said shaking her head.
"What?" Eleven whispered.
"Heather is the daughter of the guy who writes the fucking paper," Alana said with a groan slamming her hand off her head.
A woman began laughing followed by a man's laugh. The girl's heads went straight to the room on their left. They slowly began approaching the room with caution.
"Isn't that cute huh?" Billy's voice rang out from the dining room in front of them.
"He's so funny," Heather's mom said between laughs.
The three sitting at the table looked over at the girls who stood there uncomfortable. "Max," Billy said in surprise.
Max looked with wide eyes, "we didn't mean to... barge in. We tried to knock but... maybe you didn't hear us over the storm" Max said coming up with the best lie she could fathom.
"I'm sorry, who is this dripping all over my living room right now?" Tom Holloway asked Billy as he wiped his face with a napkin.
Billy chuckled, "I'm sorry. Janet, Tom, this... is my sister, Maxine" Billy said getting up from his chair and walking towards the girls.
"Oh!" Janet exclaims in shock, her eyes tripling in size.
"What on earth are you doing here?" Billy asked walking over to the girls who looked scared.
"Is something wrong?" he asked licking his lips.
"We just wanted to make sure everything was okay," Max said.
