Garroth X Reader Shopping (P2)

It's the next day, and I prepared some baskets for the fruits. Going back and forth to my house and to the carriage is really tiring.

I'm holding 3 baskets stacked, But I keep wobbling around because the baskets are blocking my view. That is until someone took the baskets that I'm holding.

It was garroth, but.. Its weird. His not wearing any armor at all, just a blue shirt with brown pants, though he still had his sword at his waist.

I looked at garroth and eyed him up and down.

"Do I look horrible?" Garroth asked.

I shaked my head. "No, you dont. Its just I haven't seen you in this type of clothes before."

He nodded. We walked to my carriage placing the baskets that garroth has been holding. I told him to wait at the carriage, because I'm going to borrow a horse from Kiki.

Kiki, gave me the horse and I came back with the horse. Saddling the horse up, and attached it to the carriage. I went back inside my house to get a picnic basket. Just in case if one of us is hungry.

Garroth climbed inside the carriage, I also climbed and placed the picnic basket on the back. I looked at infront of me, and started the horse to walk.

10 minutes has passed, and nothing happened. No talking, nothing at all. I cleared my throat to catch his attention.

"So... How are you feeling garroth?" I said, my eyes still on the road.

He turns his head to look at me. "What do you mean?"

"You know. Leaving your guard post for a day? How are you feeling right now?" I turned my head to look at him for a second.

He looks at the road, then said. "It's weird." he said

"What type of weird? Good, bad?"

"Hmmm.. Both, I guess?" he said.

"Both? Why both?"

"Umm.. I'm not sure about the bad thing, but im not sure if I should leave lord aphmau. The good thing is that, I get to talk to you more." he said, turning to me.

I stopped the horse, then looked at him.

"Talked to me more? Aren't we already doing that back at the village?" I said confused on what he meant.

"Um, yes. But you know, Our conversation don't really last 5 minutes. We only talk if we both need something from each other." He said.

" Umm.. I wanna talk to you more Y/n. I want to learn more about you." He said, looking away.

Why is he looking away? "Me too garroth, I also wanna talk and learn more about you." I said smiling.

After that conversation, the horse started walking again. We finally reached the village, we stopped at a farm full of fruits.

Theres a grape farm, orange , cherry, apple, pears, banana, mango and etc. There were a lot of fruits in this farm. I parked the carriage then hop off. Garroth got off the carriage, then we started walking to the barn.

While we were walking, someone called us.

"Hey! Y/n!" we both turned our head to the direction of the voice. It was the farmer, he approached us.

"Hey y/n, are you here for the fruits?" He said. I nodded my head, then we headed to the barn.

"So, how many baskets?" the farmer asked looking at me. "Two baskets each" I said. He nodded then looks at garroth.

"Oh! Sorry, I didn't notice you. My apologies. What's your name young man?"

"Garroth sir." Garroth said.
